"Removed old concrete patio: This was an old 1963-era concrete slab. Massive. Mike & his team brought in jackhammers and made quick work of it. Waterproofing: Removing the old slab revealed a damaged (and possibly leaking) portion of the house wall, which Mike's team repaired well. Replaced with new patio: Mike's team poured a new cement layer, then installed a new flagstone patio surface on top of that. Also a new step (concrete with flagstone exterior) at the door threshold. They also re-installed an iron railing which had been part of the original patio configuration. The job went well in all respects. We're happy with the team's work and with the new patio. I've worked with Mike and Diversified Contractors several times now. Each time, Mike has had good ideas & suggestions. Each time, his team has demonstrated excellent skills. Again, I'm looking forward to our next project."

He recommended Nicolock Pavers for the patio I wanted. Before he left, I had a detailed proposal that was not only fair, but included everything that would be done. I hired him on the spot. NO BS! Straightforward and honest. Dave and his awesome crew came out 8 days later and completed our patio in one day. "We recently had a retractable patio awning installed. The crew of Alika, Scott, and Dalton were very professional. They arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work. There install was absolutely fabulous. My wife and I were amazed at there professionalism and the way they kept the work area clean. He was very accommodating with our work schedules and with meeting us at a time that worked for us. He was the only one that automatically took out a piece of paper and provided us with a general sketch of what he would envision for our yard (which went beyond our plan of just installing a patio but it was great to see his vision of what it could be over the years). "I have used this company before, for a patio at our old house, so when I moved and so I would need a new sidewalk I knew who to call. Derek, the sales person and estimator,arrived right on time and was very professional in suggesting a design for the new sidewalk. He also suggested that we could use some of the existing flagstone to build a pad for our trash cans around the side of the house. they told me they estimated the work would be done at the end of August, but they actually came out two weeks early to do the work. on a hot day, the team worked hard and was very efficient and precise. Mr. Morgado the supervisor was there at the beginning and we discussed and confirmed the work to be done...then he gave clear instructions to the crew. They did a super job, and it looks terrific...attractive and professional. Santos the crew leader confirmed things with me before doing them, like how to handle a tricky step up from the driveway. We are very pleased with the sidewalk and have gotten several compliments on it."

"We needed a new walkway (or patio) to connect our front porch to the garage (to replace the original quartz stone, board, & flagstone design), a new front porch (since the boards were rotting), and we needed the EverGrain Composite Decking of our back deck power-washed and stained. Deckmaster was the only contractor who could do all three jobs, and the finished product on all three was great, and they gave us a great price. They redid the stairs on the back deck and gave us an extra step on the front porch, both of which we really like. Deckmaster was patient while we got our homeowner's association to approve the design, and they were very responsive and reasonable every step of the way. I'd definitely hire them again and highly recommend."
