"We've been wanting to do a patio and driveway for the past 5 years. We shopped around for quotes, designs, etc...and finally decided on doing a patio and found Hoffman Landscaping late in our search.
Brian was friendly, helpful, responsive and professional from the beginning. He was able to cover all of our design ideas and gave us a great price. The patio turned out GREAT and my wife and I are VERY happy with the outcome. Brian obviously takes pride in his work and took his time to do things right. Working with Hoffman Landscaping was stress-free and had the feel like they were friends of the family, doing us a favor.
We would highly recommend and plan on using them for other projects in the future.

"We had a small deck and were given advice to replace it with a patio to both save money and expand the space. We had been thinking about what to do for several years and kept speaking with contractors who were more interested in selling us what they wanted rather than what we wanted or needed. The steps out the door are wide and look great. When the work was being done I noticed some small adjustments we wanted, and he accommodated the changes without complaint and with only slight adjustments in costs to cover additional expenses (like railing for the basement steps). "When I called HL Design, I spoke with Catherine. We set an appointment for the next day. Dave, the owner, came out and I showed him exactly what I wanted. He recommended Nicolock Pavers for the patio I wanted. Before he left, I had a detailed proposal that was not only fair, but included everything that would be done. I hired him on the spot. NO BS! Straightforward and honest. Dave and his awesome crew came out 8 days later and completed our patio in one day. "We recently had a retractable patio awning installed. The crew of Alika, Scott, and Dalton were very professional. They arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work. There install was absolutely fabulous. My wife and I were amazed at there professionalism and the way they kept the work area clean. "We had a flagstone patio done by First Impression and are very happy with the quality of their work and their professionalism. 
The person we worked with mainly, Dustin, was extremely helpful. He explained the pros and cons of different materials and drew up a design for the patio based on our conversation about what I wanted. Dustin was also very responsive by email when we had questions.
Our work was scheduled for 6-8 weeks after we had confirmed we wanted to contract with First Impressions since they had several jobs booked before us, but once they started, they completed it in 3 days as promised. The workmanship is truly excellent, we're very happy with the final product. A couple of the stones had tool marks on them and when I mentioned it they had someone come out a couple days later to replace the defective stones. One of the stones that they replaced was not quite flush and they fixed that too.
They also put in some steppers leading to our fence and a concrete pad for a shed, both of which turned out perfectly. We ended up paying exactly the estimate and were very happy that there weren't any hidden costs. 
Overall, we had a very good experience and I highly recommend them.
