"Danny did a phenomenal job repairing the ceiling drywall in both my kitchen and dining room & then painting both ceilings. He was very careful when moving furniture & making sure all cabinets & wall hangings were all completely covered. "ALC did a fabulous job. We went from having a tiny, very old style bathroom to a real master bathroom. That meant moving a wall, putting in a new subfloor and tile, removing a shower stall and putting in a tub, and putting in a vanity. It also meant new lighting. We couldn't be more pleased. Level 4: This is the most common finish for visible interior walls. It involves applying two coats of mud over seams and screw holes, with sanding between each coat, creating a smooth surface ready for flat paint.

Level 5: This is a high-end finish for luxury homes. It includes full taping, mudding, and sanding, plus a final skim coat over the entire surface before painting.

A common cause of separation between a wall and the ceiling is truss lift—this can happen to the ceiling of rooms directly under the attic when the seasons change and wood building materials dry out, shrink, and shift.
