"Ed took on several projects/repairs in our home. We needed to have repairs to our drywall and our ceilings from prior electrical work. He retaped, fixed nail pops, muddled, sanded, primed then painted four very large rooms. They are now flawless and we are thrilled with the results. He fixed our baseboards that had tricky transitions. They look seamless! He fixed a faulty dimmer switch too! He was very professional and reliable, communicating with us throughout this process. I would definitely recommend him!"

"Allen (and Jeff) were fantastic! The work was done with excellence and care and in a timely fashion! Multiple projects were required. Our dishwasher leaked and ruined the floors in our kitchen and dining room. With needing this work done we decided we might as well have all the little DIY projects my husband completed over the years corrected as well. Cabinet repair, electrical, HVAC, drywall repair, wallpaper removal, new flooring - LVP - on entire main floor of house (and entrance to family room), new trim and paint in kitchen, DR, LR and family room, repair ceiling of garage and paint and I'm sure I missed some. This was an extensive project for us and Allen was forthcoming and honest with all of our decisions helping to guide us to the best outcome. We have lived in our home for 29 years and all the work Allen completed has truly made us fall in love with our house again. Major beautiful improvements - well done! Give him a call, ask to see his portfolio of past projects - we have lots of photos of before, during and after. Nice guy, hard-working and very clean! Give him a call - you will not be disappointed."

"The owners of the company were helpful and easy to talk to . The professionals they sent to do the painting did an excellent job. They covered everything and made sure no paint got on anything but where it was supposed to be painted. I highly recommend them and I will use them again. Drywall questions, answered by experts

You should wait at least 24 hours for drywall mud to dry before sanding or applying another coat. However, the exact drying time depends on several factors, including the thickness of the application, room temperature, humidity, and the type of compound used. Thicker layers, or projects in high humidity, may require 48 hours or more. Lightweight compounds tend to dry faster than heavier, all-purpose ones. You'll know the mud is ready when it feels completely dry and firm to the touch and has changed to a consistent light color. Sanding too early can cause smudging or gouges, so patience is essential for a smooth finish.

Yes, you can put paneling over textured walls. Of course, this will come down to personal preference and the type of paneling you want to install. From board-and-batten to shiplap and wainscoting, there are plenty of options to choose from.

There are several benefits to wet-sanding drywall, but the main perk is that it produces far less dust than dry-sanding. As a result, wet-sanding poses fewer health risks and makes less of a mess in your home. Plus, damp sponges are less abrasive than sandpaper, so there’s a smaller chance of scratching or damaging the drywall paper. Wet-sanding also creates a smoother finish than dry-sanding.

Yes, as drywall mud is going to have some uneven spots and bumps after application. Such imperfections are going to be visible after everything dries and even after you paint the wall, so you want to remove them. Learning how to sand drywall, taking your time, and following drywall sanding tips can help you have the best results.

In many cases, installing new drywall will boost your home value. Replacing old, damaged, cracked, or wavy drywall is a great way to improve the look and feel of your home, as new drywall installed by a professional shouldn’t have any imperfections. Additionally, removing old drywall means you’ll have open walls, so you can install new insulation and address exposed issues with plumbing and electrical systems running behind the walls. All of these fixes will also add to your home’s value.
