"He had other estimates, he stated when we agreed on the scope of work and price, he also stated no one else wanted to do the job ,the deck was very moldy and hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long, we pressured washed all the surfaces and they were very happy, then we sprayed the lattice only and stained with a brush all the hand rails and all floor boards including the ramp and 4 sets of steps , and the ramp was corrected 100% better then it was. I attempted to apply some non-slip tape that we agreed on and he wanted something different, so deducted from the initial price for the labor and material. He also wanted us to replace wood for free and we did not agree on any wood replacement and I stated it would be additional cost and he got upset...so we did the replacement anyway at no cost. He said his son would do the application of the non-slip on the ramp.so we deduced from the price. A very dirty deck and a lot of wood, lattice, steps and bar 3 levels. Of course it cost...also used the best stain available. Hand brushed except lattice. You get what you pay for."
