My experience with VKB was excellent from initial design with Sean, thru implementation of the new bathroom. My initial meeting with Mr. Tony Heard gave me a lot of confidence that he understood what I was looking for as well as ensuring that any issues would be addressed and resolved. The first day of renovation, I met with the team, led by Mr. George Pitts who explained the process. They were all very personable and just all-around good people to work with. One of my neighbors mentioned, "I bet your kitchen will look amazing, those guys are the happiest contractors I have ever seen. Seems they love what they do". I had to agree, everyone was a joy to work with and it really put my mind at ease. The communication with Mr. George and others was always clear and timely, specially making it a point to show me specific issues that needed to be fixed, and the cost so there would be no financial surprises. I had no doubt that the outcome was going look nice, but I must admit that once I saw the finished kitchen I was extremely pleased. The look and the attention to detail, came out better than I expected. It was completed right before Thanksgiving and family and friends were amazed. And to top it all off, I got exactly what I wanted in a kitchen, and it all came within my budget. Win Win!! "I have wanted a new kitchen for some time, now I have one. It will take some getting use to, over all I like it. I love the look and function of the cabinets. The cabinet installers were great. If given the opportunity, I would have made some selections and placement decisions that are more relevant to how I like to work in the space. The appliance company recommended is excellent! The sales person was knowledgeable and extremely helpful with recommendations. He even took into consideration the various handles on the appliances, providing a cohesive finished look. The after sales team is also excellent and customer service oriented. Some of the contractor work team are more experienced than others. However, when issues were identified, they were resolved for delivery of a good finished product. For detail oriented customers such as myself, I'd suggest you set the pace, ask questions early and often and require clarity, it would be best to finalize all detail before the work starts."
