"Jake, is quite the professional. He's early, confirms ahead of time, and simply does an excellent job. He pressured washed the house and driveway (and even some spots inside the garage at no additional cost). I would hire him again and recommend him to others."

"I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service from TW Pressures and Soft Washing Services, courtesy of Mr. Williams. Mr. Williams not only arrived promptly but even a bit early, allowing him to kickstart the soft washing process without delay. His attention to detail and skill were evident as he meticulously soft washed the sides and back of my house, efficiently eliminating all traces of mold buildup. The result? A stunningly clean and rejuvenated home that gleamed with freshness. Moreover, Mr. Williams also took care to pressure wash my front concrete steps, landing area, and the outer perimeter of the steps. The transformation was remarkable – the steps now boast a pristine appearance, with a significant reduction in stains. I am truly impressed by the level of cleanliness and care Mr. Williams brought to this task. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend TW Pressures and Soft Washing Services. See before and after pics below."

"James McCarron came to evaluate the restructure of our outdoor stairs to allow us to access the water spigot on the side of our house but inaccessible because of the stairs. While he gave us the estimate for the approach for the stairs, he recognized that the best solution was not a carpentry solution but a plumbing solution which we supported. He could have pushed the carpentry option, but he gave us a solution that would save us money, time, and resolved our spigot access situation at the same time. His honesty went a long way to the credibility of the company."

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

Yes, you must thoroughly clean your deck before staining. If you don't, dirt, debris, grease, and mildew can get trapped between the wood and the new stain. This not only looks unsightly but also prevents the stain from penetrating the wood properly, reducing its ability to protect the deck from weather and UV rays. As a result, the stain won't last as long or look as good. Any existing mold or mildew left untreated can continue to grow beneath the new stain, potentially leading to wood rot and structural damage. Always wait at least 48 hours after cleaning for the wood to dry completely before applying stain.

Does the water in your taps sometimes come out very slowly? If so, you might have problems with low water pressure in your house, and your pressure washer won’t effectively clean. To test if your water pressure is sufficient, time how long it takes for the water from your hose to fill a 5-gallon bucket. Usually, if it takes less than two minutes, you’re good to go.

It may be necessary to power wash your house, depending on the siding material. Vinyl, composite, or metal siding can hold up to the heat and pressure of occasional power washing, but materials like brick, stucco, wood, and painted materials may get damaged from the high-pressure water. For sensitive materials, consider a soft wash instead of a pressure wash.

While a pressure washer is certainly powerful enough to remove old and peeling paint, this is not a great idea to do yourself. The pressure washer is so powerful that you could actually damage the walls as you strip away the paint. It’s best to leave paint stripping to the pros.

You could void your roof warranty using a power washer if you have a newer roof. With an older roof, you could knock loose older shingles. On the other hand, some people safely use a pressure washer to remove moss from a metal roof. Although you may want to use a pressure washer, the truth is that you probably don’t need it to knock moss loose. A garden hose and brush will do the job just fine and in a safer manner than a pressure washer.
