Hutchinson was very responsive and flexible in scheduling the interior painting for our three projects. We were impressed by the skill of the painters who did a beautiful job. They understood the details of what we required and abided by all requests. They helped select the color and best type of finish to go with the wood and drywall. They also worked rapidly and competed each projects in only a few hours. We could not be happier with the results.

Michael Hutchinson and his painters were superb! They did the time-eating, required preparation, including lots of plastering. They transformed the living room and kitchen in bright white and softened the dressing room and bath in a very pleasant gray. Michael charged a fair and reasonable price (way below two other firm's estimates). The sun-drenched apartment looks very inviting and beautiful!

Michael and his crew were the utmost professionals. They went the extra mile in terms of transforming our home's drab green (and red!!) walls into soft white, making sure to fill in dents and cracks with plaster to smooth out the walls before painting. Michael's crew even removed paint marks on appliances that the previous tenants had left -- our apartment looked brand new by the time they were done. Michael himself assessed what needed to be done, gave us great advice, and then oversaw the project with a careful eye. He was communicative, knowledgeable, and reliable, and and we really enjoyed getting to know him a bit. I highly recommend Hutchinson Custom Painting!

Michael was very responsive to a request for quote and the following work. His team painted rooms in a one bedroom apartment in two days including some detailed trim work. After running into an issue with paints the previous owner used, Michael was able to trouble shoot the problem and come up with a reasonable solution. The team accommodated a last minute request and the resulting painting job looks fantastic.

Splendid! Michael's work is top-notch, plus his price was so much lower (by several thousand dollars) than the three other painters I received estimates from. Plus, he showed up at my house to do the walk-through just four hours after I called him. Sent me the estimate the following day. Some of the things I really liked: * His two-man crew was punctual. * They removed all the mold from the ceiling of my screened-in porch. It's now a gleaming white. * They repaired a crumbled wall of my linen closet with drywall, then primed and painted it, so it looks brand-new. * They repaired a huge gouge in the shoe moulding of the bedroom. They filled it in, sanded, and painted the moulding, making it look perfect. * The walls of the bedroom were pockmarked with holes from nails. The painters prepped and sanded for a long time before priming and painting. The walls now look like velvet. * I couldn't figure out what color to paint the bedroom (I wanted it to complement the colors of the other bedrooms and the hallway). Michael chose a Sherwin Williams green. I was doubtful, but decided to trust him. Glad I did. The color is stunning - depending on the time of day, it can look like a misty grey or a soft blueish-green. * In addition to the painting, his crew also fixed a latch on my front wooden screen door, caulked the bathroom tub and the kitchen counter. One tiny quibble. The drop cloths the painters used were fine, but after the job was completed, I did find a few droplets of fresh paint on the floor of the newly-painted bedroom. But it took me just a minute to wipe them up with a rag. Small price to pay for saving so much money and getting such high-quality work. I highly recommend Michael.
