The owner called me right away, came out the next day for an estimate, and fixed the leak the day after. His crew is friendly and courteous and hard working. Explained every step they weâ  re doing. "We had water coming in to the basement from the ground of our new home. After we spent a ton of money remediation the resulting mold, we had to figure out how to prevent more groundwater from making it's way inside. We got an estimate from one company, but it became clear that they didn't know the real source of the water. We called a second company, which gave a rational explanation and plan to waterproof, but the price was too high. Then we called Best Buy, we met Jay and everything was just right. Jay was very friendly, he explained what the problem was and had a clear cut plan to resolve the issue. Just as important, he got us approved for a great deal and came in about $1500 cheaper than the other company. (He didn't even know about the other estimate, he was just eager to help a first time homeowner get out of a hole.) Also, when we had a follow up question about out sump pump, Jay didn't just drop us because he'd made the sale. I called after hours, not expecting to get a call back until the next day. Instead Jay called me within 30 minutes and took the time to answer my questions. We really appreciated it and it made me sure that we made the right choice. Since the repair, we've had a few storms and everything has held up. The next big test will be when we power wash the house, but with Best Buy's phenomenal warranty, I am not worried. Finally, the crew that did the work were great. They cleaned up when they were done and Hamilton (Hammy) made sure to run through things with us. He was also very sweet to my elderly mother."

Dan was knowledgeable, and his understanding of drainage and structural problems gave me comfort in knowing that I have the right group for the project. They installed a drainage system to control storm water, graded the land, and repaired my foundation. His crew came out within 1 week, on schedule, and completed my project in 3 days. "Woke up this morning to my hvac leaking and contacted Markool. I have never used them before and was in a pinch. They fit me right in this morning and were out at my house within 2 hours. The tech stepped in the door and placed covers for his shoes so he did not track in any dirt which was impressive! The tech was very professional and super friendly. "We have been working with Affordable for a couple of years now. To put it lightly, we have the basement from hell. When they arrived, we had some water in the basement and they quoted us based on their normal pricing. Once the concrete came up, we couldn't believe what we were dealing with. It is a constant flow of water that required two sump pits and an insane amount of work to install our drainage system. Every time they tried to dig a pit it would backfill with sand and water- they had to dig this up painstakingly- foot by foot. We thought for sure we were in for additional costs, but they stuck by the original estimate. Since then, any time we have had an issue or a question, they are quick to answer. Poor Kelly and Bobby probably recognize our number on the caller ID but whenever we make a call or send an email, we always get a response- usually with a visit on the same day. We highly recommend this company for their honesty, customer service, and quality work."

"Joel and his crew did a fantastic job. I really appreciated Joel's professionalism and thoughtfulness when he evaluated the problem and formulated the most effective solution. The work was done in a timely and efficient manner. And the best part it is, that I no longer have water in my basement despite many periods of very heavy rain. I also had Guardian waterproof the basement in my former house with similar positive results. I recommend them to the highest extent!"

"Kyle, the owner, was responsive to my inquiry and came out to do the estimate. I explained what we hoped to do and what our minimum we needed to have done and that we would decide based on the cost. Kyle created an estimate that was broken down into parts so that we could pick and choose what we wanted done. Work was started within a couple of weeks and completed in 2 days. I was happy with his staff and the work performed. The problem we had was afterward. After several days of rain, a section of the yard settled, including the rock wall. It was evident that the yard was not tamped well enough. I emailed Kyle and he agreed to come back out and fix the wall/yard where it settled. We decided to wait until the spring (original work was done in fall of 2017) in case there was more settling. In April I reached out to Kyle and he agreed to come out and take a look. I also informed him that the yard had settled more and it had created a low point where water was draining under the sidewalk and eroding the ground in that area. I have heard nothing from Kyle since then. I have since emailed him again and called him with no response. I was happy with the work overall, but not happy with the lack of follow through and communication. I have been waiting to write this review until the work has been completed, but now I'm unsure it that'll every happen."
