"Basement Remodeling just completed our basement remodeling project, on time and on budget. We couldn’t be more pleased! We investigated other remodeling companies but chose Basement Remodeling after our discussions with Eric, in part because we believed we could count on their expertise in handling the inevitable quirks of renovating a 70 year old house. Our project (and budget) was probably fairly modest when compared to many remodeling projects, and Eric offered suggestions for inexpensive problem solving (rehanging existing doors, for example) rather than trying to upsell us on other, more costly solutions. We fully renovated about one-third of the basement space which included the furnace, water heater and a small but completely unfinished laundry area. Basement Remodeling created an enclosed area for the furnace and water heater and neatly disguised the electric panel, adding a well-designed, efficient and attractive wet bar with cabinetry, appliances and a custom pantry. The renovation also included cosmetic upgrades to the rest of the basement space, adding new flooring and fresh paint. The space now looks absolutely terrific! The company took care of everything, from permitting to cleanup, and every person on the team was thoughtful, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Any concerns we had along the way were addressed immediately and quickly resolved to our satisfaction. We highly recommend Basement Remodeling!"

"After I terminated the lease of my tenant in early 2023, I decided to do the whole house remodel before selling it because of the age of the house and TLC it needed. The original contractor I hired ended up going to jail for child abuse charges and I had to find another contractor to finish the job. I got a number of quotes and decided to go with Donna from AND Contractors, LLC. It is very difficult to come into a project that somebody else started and the quotes reflected that but Donna’s estimate was fair and I felt comfortable in my interactions with Donna. Don't let the fact that a woman runs the business fool you - she is a real tough but fair boss. She was on the job site every day! She treats her people right but also lets them know when they mess up and they respect her for it. There were many things that were not visible but needed to be redone where the original contractor messed up but it was important to Donna that the corrections be made. I am sure there must be limits but all of these corrections were accommodated without change orders. The project was completed on time and within budget. Oh, did I mention Donna is also a real estate agent? When the project was completed, she listed the house at the highest price in the history of the neighborhood. I was hoping but not expecting it so it was a pleasant surprise when she brought me a full price contract within a few days! I HIGHLY recommend AND contractors, LLC and Donna! If you want your project done right, on time and within budget, you owe it to yourself to at least have her look at your project!"

"Our experience with this kitchen remodeling company was an absolute nightmare, thanks to their abysmal customer service and lack of any clue of what they were doing. From the moment we signed the dotted line, it was clear that they had no interest in helping or even acknowledging our questions. The representatives were dismissive and rude, treating us like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Josh, the sales manager didn't care to respond to us, only at his convenience and when he added, "send us more money" at the end of every communication. When the project finally began in March 2023, the lack of communication and transparency reached new heights. They were constantly late and unresponsive to our concerns. Any attempt to get updates on the progress or address issues was met with indifference and excuses. It seemed like they couldn't care less about the quality of their work or our satisfaction as a paying client. It was clear the "project manager," Sam, had no idea what he was doing. We had to tell him to get inspectors to come after we realized they had no plans of doing so. It's a good thing, because his management of the work failed 3 times before they got it right. His mansplaining of excuses was embarrassing for him. To add insult to injury, the final result (now end of July 2023) was far from what we had hoped for. A total lack of attention to detail was evident throughout the remodel. Because we actually designed the kitchen and project managed it, did it turn out ok. The cabinets were damaged on installation and are still damaged after completion. It was evident that they were more interested in taking our money than delivering a satisfactory outcome. We have designed and renovated 4 bathrooms in our home and managed all of them, so we are not new to the process and what needs to be done. The general manager, John, reached out after completion (to ask for the rest of the money that we withheld because of the damaged cabinets that they did not replace) and we we told him about the horrible experience. He didn't even respond. The only good thing about this experience were the workers, Juan and Carla. They did a decent job but were limited in what they were "allowed" to do by the manager. In the end, we regret ever choosing this kitchen remodeling company. Their customer service was beyond disappointing, and we wouldn't wish this experience on our worst enemy. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs. There are plenty of other reputable companies out there that actually value their customers and take pride in their work."

"It is my pleasure to review DMV kitchen and bath. They did an outstanding job from conception through to the last details in finishing an extensive series of renovations - complete kitchen tear-down and renovation, master bathroom and closet teardown and renovation, two bathroom complete retiling/renovation, building two new rooms out of a very large basement, and replacing two forced air HVAC systems - they managed all aspects including proper construction permits. They did high-quality work at a very good price. They did an outstanding job with the work, with high attention to detail. Their communication was very strong from beginning to finish, their initial plan recommendations were excellent, they made several recommendations to not only make the job better, but also make it more cost effective along the way. They were reliable and consistent, and very genuine, "real" people. I have to imagine there will be very high demand for their services. I can’t recommend highly enough. Very timely, excellent communication, quick and high-quality professional work at a competitive price."

"I don't think it gets any better than this. The job was in a condo with a lot of rules that Chesapeake Kitchens scrupulously followed. The workmanship was excellent, and the quality of the materials used was very high. I was a first-time remodeler, and I needed lots of guidance about what would work and what wouldn't. The only mistake they made was in occasionally assuming I knew something I didn't know, but the results were always beautiful, and within budget."

Ben and Teddy from Top Remodeling sat with us and came up with a better layout without changing the size of the home. They moved the hallway, opened the living area, and added a custom touch in almost every room. They rebuilt the inside from the studs and used solid-core doors and clean finishes. We went with soft white walls, bronze handles, and natural maple cabinets. Now, it all feels open and calm. Every room has a purpose."
