The team was kind, professional and supportive throughout the entire process. We encountered a challenge with water intrusion from our basement door, and the team was flexible to accommodate troubleshooting with our basement waterproofing team, which allowed us to define the root cause and work to find a solution. The brief delay was unavoidable and the team repaired the area that required deconstruction quickly with high quality. They were also collaborative with our basement waterproofing vendor to ensure we maintained proper water protection. Basement Remodeling just completed our basement remodeling project, on time and on budget. We couldn’t be more pleased! We investigated other remodeling companies but chose Basement Remodeling after our discussions with Eric, in part because we believed we could count on their expertise in handling the inevitable quirks of renovating a 70 year old house. Our project (and budget) was probably fairly modest when compared to many remodeling projects, and Eric offered suggestions for inexpensive problem solving (rehanging existing doors, for example) rather than trying to upsell us on other, more costly solutions. We fully renovated about one-third of the basement space which included the furnace, water heater and a small but completely unfinished laundry area. Basement Remodeling created an enclosed area for the furnace and water heater and neatly disguised the electric panel, adding a well-designed, efficient and attractive wet bar with cabinetry, appliances and a custom pantry. The renovation also included cosmetic upgrades to the rest of the basement space, adding new flooring and fresh paint. The space now looks absolutely terrific! The company took care of everything, from permitting to cleanup, and every person on the team was thoughtful, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Any concerns we had along the way were addressed immediately and quickly resolved to our satisfaction. We highly recommend Basement Remodeling!

I had a great experience with Basement Remodeling. From the beginning, they were very transparent about their cost as compared to others but also about their comparative experience and the quality of their service. Without giving exact numbers, they were just about in the middle. The project was finished quicker than originally stated without a loss in quality or attention to detail. Eric Campbell, my Project Manager, took great care in understanding my wants/needs and laying out a comprehensive plan. He kept me informed of what to expect and what I needed to do throughout the process. There were no surprises in timelines or costs. Any additional expenses were driven by my added requests. Also, Eric was always responsive and helpful in coming up with ways to meet my requests. Renovations are, by their very nature, intrusive. But the teams that came into my house were respectful of my property and my family. One team worked later than scheduled to try to finish up before schedule, but they politely quit work upon my request. I am extremely pleased with the final product and would highly recommend Basement Remodeling to anyone.

I researched several companies regarding my basement remodel. A few of them came to do a walkthrough but never followed up. I stumbled across Basement Remodeling and spoke with Eric Campbell. He was very professional, open and honest about the cost. At that time, it was over my budget. A few months later, I reached out to Eric again. Same demeanor as our last encounter. He conducted a walkthrough and provided a plan for my basement the same day. He was available to discuss my options and understood my vision. Once I confirmed I was ready to move forward, Gheorghe reached out as my Project Manager. All I can say is wow! He is awesome. His team came to map out the floorplan, provided suggestions and put me at ease. Throughout the project, Gheorghe reached out weekly to let me know what was planned each week and if there would be any delays. Let's say I made several modifications to the original plan and yet Gheorghe was amenable and said sure...even down to final completion. While I didn't get everything I wanted due to budget constraints, I am very happy with my basement. Basement Remodeling can work with any budget and make your space beautiful! I will definitely use them again for as I would love to add a wet bar to my space. Thank you so much Eric, Gheorghe and Shanae for an truly awesome experience.

From the beginning to the end of the project I was updated on the schedule and cost. Of course I made changes and they were very accommodating. All of the teams were very professional, skilled, and always left my house clean. If I had issues or concerns they were addressed immediately. I am sincerely excited to be providing this review of Basement Remodeling's finishing of my basement in Odenton, Md. I was extremely impressed with the methodical system that was utilized throughout the project, from the first day when Eric Campbell, the project manager, and his managerial crew visited our property to review and initiate the finish plans and change our basement lock for theirs (eliminating the need for us to have to share our house keys) to the final day - only 7 weeks later - when they returned to replace our basement lock and close out the job. Our basement finishing involved transforming @ 800 sq. ft of unpartititioned unfinished space into a music studio, media room, small office and fully tiled bathroom, with linen closet. All of the trade professionals - plumbers, electricians, HVAC crew, carpenters, interior designer, cleaners, etc. - integrated seamlessly with the project manager. They were all professional, courteous, always on time to the job site and all did excellent work. The project manager sent weekly emails detailing the work schedule for each upcoming week; 95% of the time, his projections were totally on point! The finished product is beautiful and we are totally pleased. A special shoutout to Tom Hummer, who was our initial contact who visited our home to discuss our initial design concept and provide ides and the eventual price quote. Whereas other contractors took over a week to quote the project, Tom got it done in 24 hours, with detailed drawings, and a total cost breakdown - with stayed consistent throughout the project!

We had a great experience with Basement Remodeling. The work was completed about four months ago, but I waited to share a review until after we had lived in the space for a little while. Our remodeling project involved finishing half our basement to put in place a bedroom, full bathroom, and a rec room–and we are very pleased with the results. The folks at Basement Remodeling did a great job (no issues at all!), and they were very easy to work with. The scheduling was clear, and they were communicative throughout. Our main objective in moving forward with this project was to create a space that would allow us to better host guests, and we feel that we now have it. The team was fantastic. We were obviously a bit neurotic throughout the process, nervous spending $60k+ on a basement, but the team saw our vision and improved upon it. We made changes mid-way through about the fireplace surround from a mantle to stone and we got it done no issue. It's been three years and we've shown our basement off to others in our neighborhood, and they've all gone and gotten theirs done from Pavel too. The truest mark is when a craftsman feels pride in their work. Before George left on the last day, he took a simple picture, said thanks, and gave us the keys from the lockbox. I went back to see what he took a picture of, and it was that the fridge fit in with less than an eighth of an inch in clearance along the top and sides. I could see why he was proud.

The previous owners of our home finished the basement themselves and did not do a good job. BasementRemodeling.com helped strip the prior work down and rebuilt it from the ground up, bringing it to code along the way. They were very professional from the start, explaining the process they used, costs, and timeline. There were a few setbacks in the timing, but it still finished more quickly than I expected.
