REZ Electric & Construction

After two failed General Contractors I brought Rez Electric on-board to add a screened-in porch on the third level of my home. Rob and his Team immediately and showed me problems with the new build as well as the existing structure. Due to exceptionally poor workmanship on both the new and original structure, it took almost two years and a lot of money to complete the renovations. Rob and his Team were diligent, provided high-quality work and NEVER GAVE UP! At the end of the day, Rez Electric practically rebuilt our home including, but not necessarily limited to, framing, all new windows and doors (including sliders), all new siding (cement board), new front and rear porches and a new patio, new flat roof-top decks, new lighting, millwork, whole-home generator, dry-wall work and painting (interior & exterior) - plus an awesome screened in porch (the original project!). Rob also coordinate the addition of gutters, landscaping and fencing. He remained in constant contact, initiated and returned phone-calls, emails and texts. He always check to see if we were satisfied. Rob and his Team restored my faith in contractors.

This is the fourth major renovation job that I used REZ to handle for me. I also call him for other repairs and even just advice about work I need done. I trust Rob completely and will always go to him first. This job was done very well and very smoothly and in a timely manner -- which is hard because the majority was outdoor work in the later part of the winter and early spring. It was all completed well before the nicer weather when I would want to use my backyard. Rob was here every day ensuring the work went smoothly. When I was deciding on the type of new deck stair case to lead from my sun room to the new patio I mentioned how much i always wanted a deck that would go straight out from that door and allow me easier access to my grill. Rob considered my budget and came back with plan for just the kind of deck I wanted. I never thought I could afford it with all the other work i was having done but Rob made it happen. I cannot say enough good about REZ and the work they have done for me. Specific to this job my 15 year old pool liner started the work off by springing leak over the winter. I had wanted to replace the cracked and ugly concrete around the pool and Rob suggested very large pavers to go right over the old concrete. That lead to an entirely new patio surrounding the pool and most of the rest of the yard and the walk way to the gate - which was always a mess with mud. I needed a new gas heater for the pool and new pool ladder and railings. Then the deck with awesome wide stairs across the entire front of the deck leading to the patio. My yard is gorgeous now! I also had a leak in the house that was VERY difficult to find. It turned out to be several different problems each causing water to drip into my family room ceiling. Rob helped me search for these causes and resolve them. Then he re-routed a duct, fixed the ceiling and repainted after killing the old water stains.

We were originally approved for a VA loan to have a handicap addition put on our existing home for my husband.  My husband actually passed away before any work could be done.  Mr. Zaremski did all the arrangements and was about to start the project when it had to be cancelled.  I found Mr. Zaremski to be very pleasant to deal with.  I intend to contact this contractor in the future for other work I will need done.

it was sunday and i couldn't get anyone to answer the phone but my neighbor saw this guys big box truck parked  at the bay storage, so we got his number from the truck and called.  Robs his name and he came right over.  he moved here a f ew weeks ago and lives right in town.  he fixed the problem and didn't even charge me an emergency fee.  i was so happy because it was hot and we were having a crowd over.  i was so upset cause i thought my day was going to be ruined, but it wasn't. 

Rob Zaremski brought in the best people to complete my work. From the very first job of fixing an electrical problem with my pool equipment, i could tell his was a number i would keep - you aways need a good electrician, and i needed him to fix a mistake another electrician had made (another story entirely!). Since REZ had responded immediately to my call and the electrician had no problem sorting out and fixing the mistake, i called REZ again for yhr rlrctricalmline for my mother's walk-in tub. REZ did not install that tub, but if i had known then that REZ does a full line of remodeling and construction, i would have had hime do it.

When i learned that Rob was interested in doning my kitchen remodel, i called him when i was ready to start. Rob was at my house that afternon with granite samples and making appontments dor the custom cabinet maker to meet with us! I didn't mind having my house under construction over the winter holidays, so the job started the week of Thanksgiving; there are always minir glitches with remodels and we had a couple, but nothing too bad, and the job was done 6 Jan. This included gutting my kitchen, new wiring, plumbing, fixtures, redesign of the kitchen layout to allow for a wall oven/microwave combo, with separate 5 burner gas cook top. We had custom cabinets made, including filling a previously blank wall with a bank of closed cabinets for pantry and dishwares. Overall the kitchen is absolutely gorgeous!

I've recommended REZ to many of my Personal friends and work acquaintences. So of course i called REZ when i was ready to move on to renovating my bathrooms. Again, my work was done to full satisfaction and the results are beautiful.

There's always other work that comes up when i'm planning renovations - Rob never pushes for adding more work - he will make good suggestions, but without pressure. I have had him add painting, installation of a ew gas fireplace insert (and at his suggestion, went with these cool fire rocks, rather than the faux log set up i had previously - looks great!) When doing the new flooring throughout my second floor (Mohawk brand laminate in natural cherry - came out great!!), Rob suggested and got me a great price for changing out my tired carpeted stairs for solid maple treads, stained to coordinate with the new flooring...it all came out looking just great!

I still have three jobs to be tackled - my foyer and two front rooms, my room over the garage, and my backyard deck around my pool. I can easily say that REZ wil be the one i call.

There is nothing much too really say about Rez except that everything went accordingly. I love the look and feel of the whole thing. They were right on schedule and finished as scheduled too. I would not hesitate to use their services again. Everything was great. The workers were very nice and they seemed to work very professionally.
