"Fantastic service and is now my go-to for any HVAC issues. AC wasn’t blowing cold in June during covid. Hopped on Internet to look for good reviewed HVAC repair and the first couple of good reviewed places I called either weren’t taking new clients or who’s first available appointments were weeks away. Called MD H&C and they were able to fit me in the following day. They gave me the price of each step BEFORE performing the step and making sure I consent (i.e. our diagnosis fee is X amount, ok your issue is this...the cost to fix it plus the diagnosis will cost Y, etc). There also were no hidden charges. The number I was provided was what I paid and I thought a very fair/good number. They also educated me each step of the way and showed me what caused the issue and how they would fix it. I have dial zone HVAC with both the same condescending unit brands for each level. They even checked the 2nd one out free of charge and fixed some things to prevent the same issue from happening in that one in the future (it was on its way to the same issue). Cannot recommend Maryland Heating and Cooling enough. Will use them for all my future needs!"

"Everything went extremely well. I found Grove a completely professional organization with highly skilled workers. Their plumber subcontractor handled the installation of all gas piping in my house, oversaw the hookup with BGE's gas line and installed the hot water heater. Grove provided a skilled crew of 5, with 2 working outside and 3 inside to remove all old equipment, do some duct repair and install the new air conditioner, gas furnace, humidifier and thermostat in 2 days. They also removed all debris from the worksite and swept it clean. Their work proposal included a year's maintenance, which I feel sure will be equally satisfactory. This was a big project (3 days including the plumber), but I am confident they would handle both small and large jobs with the same competence and professionalism. I highly recommend them."

They came out three separate times, charged us money for repairs that didn't work, then decided we needed a full replacement for $4,500. We called Buric for a second opinion. Tom arrived on time, took 20 minutes to (correctly) find the problem, told us we didn't need a replacement, and repaired it for just over $400. It works great to this day. He pretty much restored our belief that honest technicians still exist in the world and saved us like $4,000. Only had one experience with them, but will always recommend them."

"The tech, Cory, came for a semiannual maintenance check when he diagnosed a problem. Parts were ordered, arrived and Cory returned to complete the repair. Each time, he was knowledgeable, as expected. What made him exceptional was his kindness, patience and communications about the repair and what to expect during the lengthy repair. Upon leaving, he clearly explained what to look for to insure proper workings. I hope Cory is my rep in the future."

"We've had generally positive experiences with McCrea. In July we had an issue with our secondary A/C unit - a minisplit that was leaking into the room. $109 for the technician to come out. When they came, the repair was small - clearing a drainage line. Called back within 30 days because the leak did not resolve, McCrea said they would send someone back out, no charge. We had some challenges and rescheduling, leading to a misunderstanding that we would be charged for a technician having to return. On that basis, I left some negative reviews online - to which McCrea responded, reaching out via phone to set an appointment for a technician to come out. Two technicians came today and spent a good deal of time fixing our initial issue. They went above an beyond in fixing the unit, remounting, and appropriately sealing the unit to the wall. On the basis of this, I'm changing my review of working with McCrea to a 5-star experience. Some miscommunication happened on both ends - we're all human - but their willingness to make things right really shows a business that values integrity. Would use again."

"Quickly responded to my ac issue. They advised me of the issue and recommended contacting the company who installed the unit as it might still be under warranty. Even though the repair (new circuit board) is expensive I appreciated their honesty in helping me with advice on the potential warranty with the original installer. You don't normally see this kind of honesty in companies today. I'd highly recommend them."
