My system was working fine before the technician arrived. Afterwards my system failed. I contacted this company based upon Angis List recommendations. The technician talked me out of the services I requested and left me with an non working system.

I have used No-Frost for years until now. My Air-conditioner circuit breaker tripped several times in a row and I called No-Frost for service. The owner decided not to send anyone out to look at my system since I didn't buy the unit from them.

Clint arrived within a couple hours of our call (no charge for quick response) and diagnosed the problem immediately. He showed my husband what had broken and explained the solution, then had it fixed in a jif for a reasonable price. We had originally called a different company but their diagnosis and proposed repairs were suspect (and expensive) and they ran the hard sell on their monthly “maintenance membership,” so we called No Frost for a second opinion. No Frost will be our first call from now on!!

On first trip to diagnose, the unit was frozen solid. Paid Reduced service visit fee. Second visit was to diagnose and order parts. Third visit was to successfully repair the unit. Efficient and reasonably priced. Pleasant staff and technicians. Competent crew.

Amazing! These really know how to up the anti, regarding customer service. Where other folks quoted me at $300 for a look see (to include travel), charged me around $270 for everything. Now mind you, my hubby had already purchased the UV-C light and installed the electrical outlet. Even if he hadn't, I will still receiving estimates that were astronomical. No Frost followed up emails and phone calls. We were seen in a timely manner. There no hidden fees. I felt this company in being honest and I loved that Thank you note. No Frost - you guys Rock!

The compressor in our 15-year-old heat pump failed, and the entire unit (outside &inside) needs to be replaced. We paid $110 for them to diagnose the issue. We asked for a quote to replace the unit which they provided. The problem is that they will not return our calls to take our deposit to schedule the replacement. They do not seem interested in doing the work. We called them four times over a week and half and after the run-around where they first complained how hot our attic is, and said it would take them weeks to get us on their “very busy” schedule and they’d call us back, but didn’t. I know it’s hot, we’ve not had AC for weeks b/c we waited for them. We gave up and have since moved on. It’s sad as we have used No Frost for years and for them to not even call us back or explain why is very disappointing.

Excellent. Came when expected. Completed task in timely fashion. Great company!

They are a great company to work with - fair prices and always prompt. We were sad to leave them behind when we moved away.

Eric came out within an hour of the call and did a fantastic job of diagnosing the problem and fixing it. He explained everything he was doing. He also cleaned the entire system which had not be touched for a long time. The cleaning was very thorough and well done.

Once the salesman got here and found out it was an attic air handler. He told me they do not do attic work in summer. He said if I was still looking in the fall he wanted me to call him. It would have been nice if his office staff asked it unit was in the attic and save both of us the time

Furnace stopped Saturday night. Called No-Frost Sunday and they came out and diagnosed the problem quickly (heater core failed after 25+ years). We got another bid (off Angie's List) on Monday. After comparing, we ordered the new Carrier system Tuesday and had it installed on Thursday. They removed all traces of the old system and installed the new system as promised. They were professional, courteous and prompt.

Went well. It was determined that the initial installation did not include the thermostat controller and that had to be rectified. Seems to be working well now.

I called yesterday morning, got their answering service (since it was before normal business hours). The woman told me that someone from No-Frost would call me as soon as they opened for the day -- which is exactly what happened. Two hours later, I had a technician at my door. He was extremely polite and professional, and rapidly figured out what was preventing the HVAC system from heating the house. He performed the repair and explained to me what was wrong and what he was doing to correct the problem. I was very pleased with the responsiveness of the company and the competency of its technician.

The technician was extremely thorough. Replace the thermostat batteries and furnace filter (I provided the parts), checked for any carbon monoxide leaks, checked the condition of furnace components, and found some bare wires that he taped up.

I called and they had an a cancellation so they fit me in immediately! After calling them, they were here within an hour! They were very thorough and explained very well the cause and issue along with preventative measures we can take for the future. I can't say enough about how professional they were, had good pricing and it was a great experience all around. I would definitely use them again in the future.

This is an excellent company. We have used them for year to service our heating and air conditioning units. It became necessary to think about replacing the units. We have two. Decided to replace both at the same time. They came out on a Monday and gave us an estimate and came out on Thursday and Friday to do the work. They totally cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was working properly. Then they called a few days later to see that everything was working well. I highly recommend this company. All the technicians are polite and competent. The office staff is nice beyond belief. If you need any heating/AC work done, this is the company to do it.

Excellent job! As part of a deck remodel project, I needed an existing outside heat pump unit moved about 10 feet around the corner of the house. This was during the peak summer season, and I had trouble getting most companies to even give me a quote. They arrived on time, everything looks like it was done professionally, and they didn't leave any kind of mess. Will definitely use in the future for my HVAC needs.

Great! My furnace blower motor died and simply shut everything down. We called No Frost and a tech named Clint came right out. Good guy! Looked things over and explained the problem. He had the parts he needed and got things done really quickly. I was impressed by the way he took the extra time to hose down and clean the motor housing and the inside of the furnace. Those are the kinds of things that, if a technician doesn't do them, most of us will never know it and dust and debris will continue to blow through our homes. I have an older furnace and I'm certain that some companies would have tried to pressure me for a much bigger repair project. I feel that Clint and No Frost were honest with me, and that truly goes a long way!

No-Frost was very responsive and very professional. Service was scheduled for the day after they took my call (non emergency). Tech arrived when promised and quickly diagnosed the problem. Repair was made on the spot.

These are great folks to work with - honest and reasonably priced. They maintain my HVAC system in Columbia every year.

One of my AC compressors was not starting correctly every time. If it did start, it would run fine, but on hot days, when it would cycle frequently, (i.e. cool to target temp, stop, temp would heat up, thermostat would send signal to restart, and eventually the compressor would not restart). I don't remember the exact explanation, but I think there's a small fan linked to the capacitor. The fan provides some cooling to the capacitor which is stressed at startup time. Eventually the capacitor burned out because it wasn't getting its appropriate fan/cooling. First, this is a pretty specific problem. I'm fairly technical myself, and my father can fix anything. We had isolated the issue to the capacitor, but could figure out why it had failed. This is a large home and the large capacitor, so it really was a job for a professional -- capacitors offer plenty of opportunities to electrocute yourself pretty severely if your a "do-it-yourselfer." The No-Frost tech diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and explained it in detail. I called my old man to see what he thought, and confirmed that would definitely explain the problem. Second, the appropriate replacement part was an all-in-one capacitor/fan combo part specifically made by the vendor. Because my unit was a larger-than-typical unit AND these guys rushed out pretty much same day (or next morning -- I think it was a Friday going into a 95 degree weekend). The tech didn't have that exact part on his truck. He gave me two options, he had the same size capacitor and fan unit separately, so he could merge those together and get the unit functioning right then and there, or he could order the part and come back some time the following week -- he called the warehouse and they didn't have it in stock (my compressor is large and 10-years old). Given the weather, and everything else, I had him build the setup I needed, took him about 20 minutes to link the fan and capacitor together and the AC unit was humming along again shortly thereafter. I loved that he took the time to explain the problem in detail. He could tell i was "tinkerer," yet he was very politely patient with my ignorance (I had no idea the capacitor required its own cooling). I loved that he gave me the choice on waiting for the vendor's "officially sanctioned" part or just getting the unit working, and that he took the time to explain why this wasn't a risky workaround. I gave him a nice tip and emailed my neighborhood HOA email group the contact details as a reliable, trustworthy and well-priced service provider who will always go the extra mile for the customer. These guys fixed my furnace a year earlier when I nearly burned my house down by not paying attention to my intake... Would and have definitely recommend these folks for any HVAC needs.

No Frost Air Conditioning and Heat came out right away to evaluate the unit. It turned out to be fine, but I was relieved that they were able to respond quickly. It was a very cold day and if the unit was running on the emergency electric, it would have been very costly. The service man, Clint, was very professional and polite. He did an excellent job of testing the unit to make sure it was running correctly.
