"We are so happy with our newly expanded patio. Best Landscaping did a phenomenal job with the design, planning, and installation of our patio, as well as a drainage system to stop flooding in our backyard. The contractors always showed up on time, and left the job site clean at the end of the day. From the start of the project, everything went very smoothly. I was given a very competitive estimate, and the company was always quick to respond when I had questions or concerns. The owner, Abel, was wonderful. He called and checked in often with the builders, and made sure things were going smoothly. When it turned out that we were going to have to make some additional changes, the change in pricing was very fair. When some materials were unavailable due to Covid, Abel worked hard to make sure we were happy with the substitutions. Since the french drain installation, we have had no problems with runoff and flooding. "We requested quotes from 5 other companies before meeting Jaime and in this case, the best was saved for last. He was very accommodating with our work schedules and with meeting us at a time that worked for us. He was the only one that automatically took out a piece of paper and provided us with a general sketch of what he would envision for our yard (which went beyond our plan of just installing a patio but it was great to see his vision of what it could be over the years). He was also able to work within our price point and accommodated many questions and requests we had. The work was done quickly and beautifully and are so pleased with the final project. "When I called HL Design, I spoke with Catherine. We set an appointment for the next day. Dave, the owner, came out and I showed him exactly what I wanted. He recommended Nicolock Pavers for the patio I wanted. Before he left, I had a detailed proposal that was not only fair, but included everything that would be done. I hired him on the spot. NO BS! Straightforward and honest. Dave and his awesome crew came out 8 days later and completed our patio in one day. Let me tell you, Dave's crew took an ugly space under our deck in the back of our townhouse, that wouldn't grow grass, and transformed it into a thing of beauty.
