"We had a small deck and were given advice to replace it with a patio to both save money and expand the space. We had been thinking about what to do for several years and kept speaking with contractors who were more interested in selling us what they wanted rather than what we wanted or needed. Freedom Fence and Deck came to our home and asked what we wanted, listened carefully, understood our price point and gave us a great solution. He patio is beautiful. The steps out the door are wide and look great. When the work was being done I noticed some small adjustments we wanted, and he accommodated the changes without complaint and with only slight adjustments in costs to cover additional expenses (like railing for the basement steps). We had tons of rain and he worked around it. They cleaned up and reseeded the grass where it was needed. I am beyond happy. The beauty, usability, and cost (within my budget) al worked to give me the perfect outcome. I have worked with a lot of contractors and if you want a non nonsense contractor willing to do what you need and want, Freedom Fence and Deck is the company to call!"

"We've now worked with Diversified Contractors twice and have enjoyed the experience both times. In terms of pricing, quality of work, and ease to work with and modify a design during a build, you can't go wrong. We worked with Mike, and have recommended him to our family and neighbors and all have the same experience. We can be picky and demanding of any project for this kind of spend, and we solicited multiple bids each time (2 years apart), and DC was still the best. "We are so happy with our newly expanded patio. Best Landscaping did a phenomenal job with the design, planning, and installation of our patio, as well as a drainage system to stop flooding in our backyard. The contractors always showed up on time, and left the job site clean at the end of the day. From the start of the project, everything went very smoothly. I was given a very competitive estimate, and the company was always quick to respond when I had questions or concerns. The owner, Abel, was wonderful. He called and checked in often with the builders, and made sure things were going smoothly. When it turned out that we were going to have to make some additional changes, the change in pricing was very fair. When some materials were unavailable due to Covid, Abel worked hard to make sure we were happy with the substitutions. Since the french drain installation, we have had no problems with runoff and flooding. "We requested quotes from 5 other companies before meeting Jaime and in this case, the best was saved for last. He was very accommodating with our work schedules and with meeting us at a time that worked for us. He was the only one that automatically took out a piece of paper and provided us with a general sketch of what he would envision for our yard (which went beyond our plan of just installing a patio but it was great to see his vision of what it could be over the years). "When I called HL Design, I spoke with Catherine. We set an appointment for the next day. Dave, the owner, came out and I showed him exactly what I wanted. He recommended Nicolock Pavers for the patio I wanted. Before he left, I had a detailed proposal that was not only fair, but included everything that would be done. I hired him on the spot. NO BS! Straightforward and honest. Dave and his awesome crew came out 8 days later and completed our patio in one day. Let me tell you, Dave's crew took an ugly space under our deck in the back of our townhouse, that wouldn't grow grass, and transformed it into a thing of beauty.
