"Hired to fix stubborn kitchen and bathroom drains in my basement. They are connected so he was able to snake the one drain. I tried fixing this problem myself several times this year but it would just come back after a few weeks. Finally gave in to hire a professional. My dinky hand auger was not cutting it. Service was same day, quick, and price was reasonable. I feel they trustworthy and I'm hoping this will clear this problem up for a long time. I would use them again."

"It was fine. They did the job in two days. We questioned if the length of the drain pipe was enough - we didn't think it was actually long enough to go around the house but they said it would be fine. That's where the problem occurred. They didn't go further around the house. They put in box drains, but now there's flooding that comes around the house from the box drains. I'm having problems with my downspout now too. There's no enough length for it to drain out to the side out the house and it's backing up and flooding at the corner of my house and on the side of my house by the last box drain. I asked them to come out and take a look. They sent out a quality control person to take a look. He told me that it's doing the job that it's supposed to do, but it would need to be extended towards the front of the yard. He gave me a quote of $4,000. We already paid $8,000 for the work. I was shocked. We had asked them 3 times if they thought the length would have been enough. The quality control person talked to his boss and brought the price down to $3000, but that's ridiculous. I went with them because of good reviews on Angie's List, but when there's a problem they won't work with you. If they would have figured it out in the first place- it would have made their estimate a lot higher and I may not have worked with them. I had gotten estimate from other people but choice them. UPDATE: 8/11/2017 The contractor has resolved the issue with the drain system. He was responsive and he resolved the issue quickly to how we wanted it fixed. He responded quickly and it says a lot for his company. He took the reviews seriously and he wanted to make sure that the customer was satisfied and it is very important to him to keep up his good reputation being in Angie's List. This says a lot about their customer service!"

"Because of the great service from Best Buy I feel compelled to update my review below. My situation was complicated. A spring runs continuously under our slab, there was water in several places within our finished basement, and there was a leak under a supporting I beam. Best Buy, unlike other companies, warrants the entire floor, not merely the area around their work. This warranty is invaluable as my experience demonstrated. Andrew, the owner, and his crew came out at least 5 times, sometimes on short notice, once on Sunday, to figure out how to solve all of the complicated issues. They had to build a perimeter drain, a lateral drain, and a speed drain and they had to epoxy around the supporting beam. On one occasion I called because there was a damp spot in one place, but Andrew pointed out several others that I'd missed. Of course, it wasn't in his interest to do so as it required more work. I highly recommend Best Buy!"

I do recommend turning off your air or heat if they dig an indoor French drain as it clogged our AC unit. "I had underground water coming into my basement from an unknown source. The men dug a trench along the back wall and put in a French drain that went to a sump pump that they installed. They cleaned all of the work area and dried all of the water on the floor. My home was well protected from all work generated dirt and refuse. I am very impressed and I give them my highest recommendation. I would definitely hire this company again. The sales rep was knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done leaving no questions unanswered."

"I browsed around and found John Krause Construction. I made a call to thier office and they got back to me very quickly, I was able to get an estimate on the work the following day. John Krause had went over all the details with me about all the work i wanted done, and i found this helpful since it was my first home owner experience. I wanted to finance the work since i was having a large amount done and they even offer a financing option which was a very easy process to complete. John Krause was able to beat multiple other contractors and large businesses when it came to pricing by quite a bit.                                                                              The quality of work was well beyond pricing. All of my work was completed very quickly within a week or so. Everything looked exceptional. His employees were very friendly and made sure to clean up everyday before leaving. My privacy fence, doorway and gutter are all well above what i expected. The grading of the backyard was also done excellent. My backyard now properly drains so i'm not left with a small pond anymore. Another positive i liked is John followed up with me a few weeks after the work was completed to ensure everything was still good to go, which it was of course.                                                                                                    I would highly recommend using John Krause Construction for ANYTHING you need done.
