"Hugo was very easy to work with. Ended up using them for ongoing mowing and an even bigger yard cleanup - all reasonably priced. It was for an estate so he even sent pictures every time to confirm the service was completed. Excellent service and the yard looked great."

"Amazing experience and a true blessing! The team was professional, reliable, and affordable. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right and took the time to pay attention to every detail. My property is 3 acres, and they did an outstanding job. I will definitely be using their services again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work. Thank you for such an amazing job!"

"We only wanted to water a very small lawn so in the end it wasn't cost effective. The estimator that came out to our house was excellent. She was very thorough and spent a great deal of time helping us figure out what made sense for our needs. She then spent time working up the estimate on the spot. Later when we decided not to install any system, she was gracious and helpful. We did get two other estimates. One company didn't even come to the house - just used google earth to map out a system. The other walked around for 5 minutes - and was gone. I would recommend Atlantic. In addition - Atlantic installed a system at our previous home and the service was great."

"Mr. Lemus has an excellent crew that gets right to work. We had 10 yards of mulch and three yards of Leafgrow delivered that morning and by the end of the day our flower beds were all edged and mulched, the lawn was aerated and has a top "dressing" of three yards of Leafgrow and the place looks fantastic. This was a long day for these guys -- finished up at about 6PM but wow I was super impressed. Mr. Lemus is friendly and very accommodating. His crew is polite and very respectful -- always yes, sir or yes ma'am. Really, I'd recommend them to anyone. The name says it all -- quality work at reasonable prices. Love these guys!"

"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

No, it’s not necessary to remove all the leaves from your lawn—in fact, leaving some behind can be beneficial. While it's important to clear thick layers of leaves that can smother your grass, leaving a light scattering of leaves can help feed your soil while also providing safe winter habitat for pollinators like bumble bees. Leftover leaves will eventually break down, enriching the soil and promoting healthy lawn growth.

A land-clearing project begins with assessing and preparing the property and pulling any necessary permits with your municipal building department. Clearing can begin after the project details are ironed out between you and your pro and a written contract is signed. Pros will bring out the necessary equipment and crew to first remove trees, stumps, brush, and vegetation. Your pro will then load up and haul away the project debris, and depending on the project, they may finish by grading the cleared land.

You’ll need to kill the earwigs using traps or insecticides, and then prevent them from entering your home. Make sure you fix leaks and seal up all cracks and crevices. You can use a dehumidifier to cut the moisture and drive earwigs out.

No, definitely not. Pulling weeds by hand is the single most effective way to remove them because you're eliminating the entire plant—roots and all—so it won’t have a chance to grow or spread. Setting time aside a few times per week to pull weeds can keep them at bay. If the number of weeds gets overwhelming, then you can resort to other methods.

Most mushrooms found on residential lawns are harmless. Certain varieties such as destroying angel, fly agaric, and vomiter mushrooms that can grow in grass will occasionally make their way onto residential lawn, but this is uncommon. Since mushrooms can be notoriously difficult to identify, if you suspect that your lawn mushrooms could be a poisonous type, consulting a professional is recommended.
