"Driveway looks great now. Crew was able to come out quickly and got the job done in less than a day. Price wasn't the cheapest offer I received, but not the most expensive, either. In all, a fair value."

"E Stanley paving did a great job. Their representative Joe was friendly and professional and able to answer all our questions. They started the job within a few days of the initial visit. It entailed a lot more work than I thought. They had to bust up three sections of the driveway in order to make it level and get a proper base and had to raise a drain in the driveway. Due to many issues with the county grinder in our front yard that the county has had to excavate our driveway had sunk down 3 inches. They created a smooth surface level to the sidewalk and did a nice job on the edges. We couldn't be more thrilled."

"**I posted that I needed asphalt for my driveway on Angi.come and received several phone calls. The reason I chose Frank is that he is very patient and efficient. He came to inspect the driveway in advance and took the time to discuss the details with me when I got home. Additionally, he and his team did a great job, even though my project was small. I highly recommend giving Frank and his team a try!**"

"Nick and his crew were prompt. They were courteous and performed the work as discussed. Nick was on-site the entire time and supervised the work. They moved the dirt from the driveway to my back yard where I directed them to at no extra cost for the labor. Two of my neighbors were so impressed with the work that they hired him on the spot to do their driveways too. Best estimate I received for the same work. Wouldn’t take payment until I was completely satisfied with the work. I had watched a video on how the work should be done and Nick and his crew followed it to the letter."

The project was started on the planned date and completed the same day. We made the right choice in selecting Got Paving and recommend them."

"These guy's were awesome. I am very pleased with the work that was done. They helped me move items away from the driveway. Cleaned, edged, and then provided a uniform seal and coat on the entire driveway. Took them only 3-4 days to do the job after they came out and gave an estimate. They were on the phone scheduling their arrival even on a Saturday. Saw what my neighbors went through after they got the $80 special from the drive by's that were "going to be in the neighborhood". I think they charged me the going rate, which is a little high, but I wanted a first class job and was willing to pay for it. Highly recommend them to my Severna Park neighbors and friends."

An asphalt driveway should last 25 to 30 years, depending on the type of asphalt used, the climate, how well the foundation was prepared, the type of soil under the foundation, and how well you maintain your driveway. Maintaining asphalt by filling cracks and reapplying sealer every few years can help extend the life of your asphalt driveway.
When hiring an asphalt paving contractor to install your driveway, ask as many questions up front as possible. Here are a few questions to ask a prospective driveway contractor:
How many years of experience do you have?
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Do you have worker’s compensation?
Do you use subcontractors on your projects?
Do you clean up after the job is done?
Who is responsible for any damage to lawn or landscaping?
Do you provide a guarantee or warranty on your work?
Do you give free estimates?
What is the timeline for completion?
How do you handle change orders?
Can you provide at least three references?
Can I see some of the work you’ve done?
An asphalt driveway should be at least 3 inches thick over a compacted gravel base. Areas with poor drainage should have a thicker stone base. To install a new asphalt driveway over an existing driveway, the new asphalt should be at least 2 inches thick and the existing driveway should be in relatively good condition.
An asphalt driveway costs about $7 to $15 per square foot, including labor and materials. The cost will vary depending on your location, how thick the base material is, what prep is required, the thickness of the asphalt, and the accessibility of the job site. The national average cost to install an asphalt driveway is about $4,740.
