She was able to change an initially scheduled time to two days earlier which enabled us to have some plants planted that were sitting unpotted in our driveway. The 4-person work crew was polite and responsive as well. They came later than expected due to a prior customer wanting more things done and traffic, but Claudia kept me informed. "3 men showed up on a very hot day and worked non-stop for two days. They checked for level ness of walkway area before laying pavers. They were friendly and only took a break for lunch, which I bought them the second day as they had not brought their own. The owner, Mr Abel Rivas, stopped by the second day before pavers were laid to ensure they were the correct ones and in the pattern I had selected. He had also stayed in touch with me before the project began to help me select pavers and color. And he came by with samples beforehand to ensure they were the ones I wanted. After the pavers were laid, I noticed that the seam at the porch steps and the pavers was open. I asked Mr Rivas to return to caulk or otherwise fill this area. Which he did, altho it took two tries before he returned. He also power washed the rear concrete stoop steps at no additional charge. I am happy with the new walkway which has improved the curb appeal of my house. It has rained several times since installation and the walkway appears to be secure and draining properly. "
If your driveway is cracked, you can repave it with a process called asphalt overlay. Overlay is more cost-effective than a full replacement but is better suited for minor cracks and issues. If you have major cracks or other problems like water pooling, asphalt overlay isn’t your best bet. Plus, paving over a cracked driveway only extends the lifetime by about 10 years, whereas replacing it would start the clock over completely to give you up to 30 years.
