Beltway BlindsSetup estimate for window treatments for three rooms. Rep appeared on time. Was courteous and went over what I was hoping to do in each room. Home is 100 years old, with trim remaining from original single sash wood windows. Rep pointed out that they would not be able to do the plantation-style shutters I had hoped for in upstairs bathroom, because of the complex profile of the old window jambs--not wide enough for shutter hardware. Order blinds for sewing room. Came weekend after MD lockdown (company considered essential service) and installed custom ordered, honeycomb blinds. Fit in beautifully with decor of craft room; helps diffuse sunlight without completely blocking out. Install was quick, about 20 minutes. Look forward to getting blinds for computer room.- Anya R.

We bought Hunter Douglas shutters from Window VanGo and they are covered by a lifetime warranty, which was honored when several warped slats needed to be replaced at no charge. Excellent service and excellent quality. The products are not inexpensive but are worth the investment. We had 14 windows and a large glass patio door installed with the shutters.- William O.

Unicorp Home Energy ServicesCalled UNCIORP to get an estimate on replacing the glass in a bow window based on their excellent Angie's List ratings and phone was answered by a very friendly lady who connected me with their window guy. I explained what I was looking for and he said that although they don't replace just individual glass panels in existing bow windows that he had a good alternate company recommendation for me (one local to me) and even gave me ideas on what to ask them for to get the best quality replacement. VERY IMPRESSED that UNICORP would take the time out to help someone not buying from them right then. Have passed their name on to two friends already looking to get replacement window work and will definitely keep them in mind for the future.- Jan B.

Unicorp Home Energy ServicesFrom the very start to the very end my experience with Unicorp could not have gone any better. If your looking for a company that truly cares about its customers, look no further. I have hired other contractor over the years but I can say this company delivered at every turn. This was a large project for me and was somewhat nervous considering the difficulty since my home was not built from the start with the best of materials. Unicorp's staff of siding professionals were able to not just make my home look great but took care of some long standing issues that existed. I love our new entry door, I chose the ProVia Signet series doors that look and feel just like wood and went with Unicorp's own Signature sliding glass door with internal mini blinds. Once again the installation was second to none and when they left my home it was cleaner than when they arrived. I investigated this company quite throughly before hiring them, as I said this was a lot of money for me but I can honestly say I got more than my monies worth. My thanks to JR Burger one of two project supervisors that over saw every step of the job as well as Megan for keeping me informed throughout the project. If you want to avoid the hard sell tactics and hire a well tuned machine, they deliver.- Brandon K.

Two men for the three and half days - they painted the kitchen, laundry room, living room, office and one bedroom. Excellent prep work and two coats of paint. They cleaned up at the end of each day and before leaving, moved all the furniture back. A thoroughly professional job, and we will definitely use them again.

The handyman was 3hours late (scheduled and confirmed for 10:30, did not show up until 12:45). Was quoted for 3hr job, took 4hr. Would not have been a big deal if the job had been done right. The handyman when he was finished told us he realized he made the top step too small (it is half the width as the others). Told us he could fix it, but it would mean he would have to redo the entire job and get new materials. Would have rated then an F, except the scheduling women Rose was very easy to work with and prompt with all communication. But I would definitely not hire them again or recommend their services.

My experience with Will's Decorating was outstanding! The staff were professional, timely and extremely helpful. I stopped by Will's to schedule a consultation for drapes. During our discussion, I gave them an overview of my style, preferences and I left a decorative pillow that I wanted my drapes match. I was scheduled for an in-home appointment 2 days later. Valerie, the Will's representative, arrived at my home on time with an array of color swatches that were excellent matches to the pillow. After an hour or so of looking through the swatches, I selected a fabric for my drapes and placed an order. I was given at estimated installation of date of 5 weeks, but to my surprised it took approximately of 3 weeks for my drapes to be custom made and installed. Wow... was all I could say! I was contacted on the day my drapes were complete and they were installed the next day. The measurements for my drapes were perfect and so was the installation. Valerie was there the entire time, overseeing everything. I couldn't have been more pleased with their service. I highly recommend Will's if you are looking for experienced interior design professionals, who know their stuff and who are committed to providing superior customer service.
