AES Builder & Home ImprovementsThey just completed a 3-season room and deck for us and it looks great. 5-star rating for the end product for sure. The builders and installers all did a great job. They were friendly and willing to answer any questions I asked. The cleanup crew of one did a fabulous job. The salesman, David Hill, was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. A pleasure to work with for sure. If I were to ignore the fact that we signed the contract in March 2020, at the beginning of what became an unprecedented pandemic, and the build did not complete until February 2021, this review might have been far less positive. We were initially anticipating completion by July 2020. But who’d have known how the pandemic would eventually affect suppliers, inventory availability, inspector availability, and more. There were so many delays that appear to have been out of everyone’s control. Marc, our project manager, seemed overwhelmed at times trying to coordinate all the various activities for this project. Multiply that by all the other projects AES might have had going on at the same time and all the pandemic-caused impacts to suppliers and inspection offices in different jurisdictions with different COVID-19 mandates, I’m sure it was a nightmare. Still, I wish communications and coordination could have been more timely. But job-well done at the end of the day. The wait was worth it.- Rick C.

NLT ConstructionI wanted to keep the stained wood look from the inside while the exterior was covered with weather resistant material, making the porch usable in all seasons. Dave and his crew did a great job getting this done and Dave is very easy to work with. Misha's Home Improvement IncI had water leaking between the sunroom and family room via the doorway. I had pay extra given the fact that this problem was years old and there was substantial wood rot. The result? New siding, new sun roof tiles as well as patial sunroom roof replacement. The workers were very professional even though communication was difficult since they were Georgian but it was a pleasure trying to communicate with them as well as having them fix my house. His view of our project was excellent as he designed the large window view and also listened very carefully to our desires and needs, making sure all were met to our satisfaction. AES Builder & Home ImprovementsI am a very satisfied AES customer and can attest to the value of their 5 year warranty. This is a serious benefit to consumers and should be considered as part of the decision process when selecting a contractor. I have firsthand experience with this benefit. In 2010, slightly past the 5 year warranty period of my bathroom projects, a plumbing problem developed in my downstairs bathroom. In all honesty, I wasn't certain it was an AES issue or that they would be willing to deal with it. Nevertheless, I called anyway. Tim Munson called me back and, after I explained what I had, he wasn't certain it was his issue either. But, despite that, he went ahead and sent one of his men out to take care of it, which he did and at no cost to me. Now that is true customer service and why AES is company well worth considering.- Gerald F.

Work results were excellent. The dormer was a complicated project, requiring coordination of framers, roofers, painters, electricians, drywall installers, hardwood installers, and probably others I forgot to mention. Dave’s people did great work, always polite and on time. Most importantly, Dave himself was proactive, always in close contact and quickly responsive. He never tried to upsell us, or sell additional work — I had to ask him to look at our deteriorated front steps after work started on the dormer, and was happy that he could fit that project in for us, too. Finally, we found Dave’s pricing to be fair and competitive. All and all, Precision Remodeling Inc. offered great value for the money. We would definitely hire them again in the future.

There was a delay in getting the windows measured which moved the installation past the end date I had wanted, however, once the windows were ordered the installation followed in a timely manner. Jason did the installation in a day and a half and we are very happy with the results. We purchased quality windows and Jason provided a quality installation.
