PriceCo Floors IncPriceco floors sent a sales representative to come out pretty quickly after I requested an estimate. The actual workers came in the time frame they said they would and were wearing masks, which I appreciated. The work was done SUPER fast and everything looks great. They not only hauled and replaced the carpeting but also pulled out the ceramic tile and replaced it with LVT. The estimate was a bit pricier than some of the other estimates I received but I felt good about the quality of the products and work I was receiving. My only frustrations were that no one called to tell me the work was done and that not all of the furniture was moved back. However, when I called to voice my concerns, Priceco offered to have someone come out the next day to move the furniture back.- Rebecca G.

Aladdin Carpet & FloorsWe are very happy with the result. The flooring is just what we asked for. The hardwood matched perfectly to the hallway transition on the stairs. The installers were punctual and polite. They protected all the flooring that they needed to use to access the area. Henry came to our initial estimate and was very helpful in giving input on best way to tackle the stairs and landing areas to transition to the laminate flooring. VKB Kitchen & BathWhile it is normal for remodeling projects to create chaos and to be the muse of many a horror story, this ended up with a very pleasant end result. We had a complete renovation down to the studs to bring things up to code, which included ripping out the sub flooring and quite a bit of pipes. Parts were ordered and lost and found. Things went on backorder and were discontinued. We fortunately had a fantastic crew. Ismar (the contractor) did an awesome job of making sure that everything was done to spec and built beautifully. He followed our wishes and came back on the weekend and late to be sure the work was done right. The only real challenges were with the design and oversight from the office, between the designer losing our design specs on the first pass and not communicating proactively about delays or back orders, but thankfully these were more annoyance than problem. After a few handoffs, we got Eric E. as project manager, and he saw us through the rest of the project with much better results and only about 30% oversight still needed from us. Overall, we got a great bathroom out of the deal, so 4 stars.- W W.

NLT ConstructionGreat! I cannot say enouh good things about this company, particularly Dave Cedrone, the contractor I worked with. The only delays were pandemic-related (unusually long delivery times on appliances) and delays requested on my part for reasons having nothing to do with NLT. Once the job was scheduled, it proceeded smoothly and on time. Dave is thoroughly professional, easy to communicate with, extremely knowledgeable, and helped me through the entire process, including dealing with suppliers. I knew absolutely nothing about remodeling, and Dave answered innumerable questions from me and was always responsive to my concerns. With Dave's expertise and my ideas, he and I collaborated on a plan for the kitchen and when it was done, it looked exactly as I wanted it to look.- ILENE L.

Floormax, a Carpet N Things CompanyWent to the Floormax in Elkridge and worked with Amir. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with! Installed 1,050 sq ft of Pergo Extreme (LVP) flooring in the basement, including trim, transitions, etc. Total cost was $9K ($6K for flooring and $3K for install). BUT... the garage would not have been complete without removing my previous DIY garage floor project with Granite Garage Floors' professional installation. The service before, during and after the job was first class. During the job, the team was extremely thorough, first in removing the previous work and throughout the project. The GEA Construction team hit all our requirements and we most definitely would hire them again. They are professional craftsmen of many trades. They came to our home did a thorough walk through, assessed the work to be done and provided a cost. They were knowledgeable about not taking cheap short cuts so that it would take to give us a finished product that we would be happy with. They cared that it was done right and that we would be pleased with the result. ~*~Timeliness & Preparedness - Once we selected them for the job and scheduled a start time, they showed up at the agreed time with the proper tools. I appreciate that they had an adequate crew to keep the project moving along and completed the job within the time frame they stated. ~*~Professionalism - The crew left at the same time each day which gave our family a little breathing space. I couldn't be happier with the service and product. Steve gave me a quote for the entire job the day after first calling him, and his crew came out two weeks later to start the work. They were right on time, made quick work of the garage, from grinding and shot blasting to the first layer of epoxy and color chips. The final product is stunning, and my only regret is not doing it sooner.

Their workers were meticulous in their work and bent over backwards to ensure I was satisfied with their matching, sanding, staining and varnishing. Sebastian and his team were amazing. They were very respectful of my home and finished the work professionally and ahead of schedule. They had planned for three days but only had to come back on the third day for about an hour to finalize a very tricky portion of the install that had to do with a stairway railing over a very large opening. All the other contractors I requested quotes from mulled over the complicated stair railings while Amazonia simply quoted and tackled it (Two companies didn't even provide a quote). I would hire them again in a second and quite honestly, wish they did more. Great Crew and Great Experience.
