"Best Renovation Ever ARMS Home Improvement worked on 3 projects at my home-- Master Bathroom-- Guest Bathroom-- Electrical Panel Upgrade This company is honest, professional, helpful, and is able to hear what you want in your renovation and also add features that complement the design.  What I loved about working with them was the network of craftsmen/ craftswomen that they bring to the job, from the tile, cabinets, mirrors.  I was particularly impressed that when they worked on the accent tile, they brought in a specialist for 1 day to make sure the cuts were coordinated with the pattern.  They suggested lighting that I wouldn't have included, from their extensive experience in bathroom renovations.  I wasn't sure that the extra lights were needed, but they made a big difference in the finished bathrooms.  They also suggested moving a vent from the floor to under a cabinet, small things that make a world of difference, that I would not have thought of.  Finally, the made sure that the foundation, pipes, floor, etc was sound. The owner, Allen Metcalf, is someone that you want to know and wish he was your neighbor.  I was out of town and I needed assistance on a weekend and he stepped in to fix things.  Total lifesaver. I have two more projects planned for the future and ARMS Home Improvement is the company that I want to work with. "

"Thomas M was an excellent technician and did great work fixing all the basement windows around the house. These windows are difficult to find a replacement but he was able to repair and repaint them. The other technician was Pablo He worked on caulking all the windows around the house and he did some filling work on the garage sliding doors You did a good job, but Pablo left his trash around and didn’t pick up after himself so Thomas M and I did that on the third day. It took three days total, but it was two men for two days and one man for a 3/4 of a day actually. Although I’ll probably get charged for a full day, since it went past noon. The labor portion is the most expensive and a little higher than I initially anticipated. So, I was hoping for a quicker turnaround, but overall quality work was completed. I would highly recommend Thomas M as a technician to do future work. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and does a great job. I would hire again but include more details in the contract language."

"We first used Chevy Chase Remodeling for a small bathroom remodel in the summer of 2017. After a positive experience with Steve, we decided to use them for a full house remodel at a new property. The extensive remodel included a two story addition (garage and bedroom), outdoor landscaping, installing a gas fireplace with built in shelving and the complete gut and remodel of the kitchen, basement, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The workmanship throughout the entire job was exceptional. Their designer David provided innovative solutions that allowed us to open up the main level floor plan and redesign the kitchen layout. "Rafael from Omar's gave us a quote a year or two ago but we postponed the work until last Fall when we contacted him again. He was totally responsive and beat his original quote significantly, agreeing a major kitchen rehab and installation of new IKEA cabinets, removing old knee walls, moving and installing new sink and fridge--all for about $10,000. Rafael, his master cabinetmaker, Juan Carlos, and crew did an outstanding job, including moving electric panel and lots of rewiring... on time, on budget, and taking care of lots of little extras at no charge.  We had them take on several additional jobs, installing attic stairway, and, this Spring--faced with water seepage problems from roof and/or brick walls--we had them repoint all our brickwork outside, reseal roof, dig out around part of foundation, repaint exterior, install some shutters and paint front trim... all for only another $3,200 round figures--beating quotes of others who have lesser reputations.  We fully endorse Omar and his team and consider them among the very best contractors we've ever worked with on the renovations we have made of at least 4 antique homes here and in New England. I wish they were in New England!!"
