"Jake did an outstanding job with our recessed lighting installation. He was very attentive to detail and making sure the lights were aligned and symmetrical, and that nothing was damaged during the work. He managed through hard work and persistence to install six units without damaging our drywall. He also looped me into decision-making at the right times, and was great at communicating the pros and cons of different choices. I was able to provide the canisters, lights, and dimmer myself which allowed me to research and choose exactly what I wanted and avoid markups, but used their wiring. I got the full day deal and was also able to have Jake swap out an old light switch for a Lutron paddle switch for check into some other electrical issues in another room. Installing this lighting was a stress-free experience, and it's made our space so much more livable and usable. I plan to use Murphy Family Services again for some additional updates."

"There was only one hang up. When I contacted them through e-mail I indicated that I wanted to talk about installing an antique wood burning stove in addition to the chimney inspection and cleaning. The appointment was made for the afternoon on a certain day. But, the guys called that morning and left a message on my voicemail saying they could come early. I did not get the voicemail and they showed up early anyway. I was not home but my mother was there. Unfortunately, these guys did not get the word from the scheduler in the office that I wanted to talk about the installation of the wood burning stove in addition to having the chimney cleaned. So they came did they work and left. I called the workers back (since I had their phone number from the voicemail) and communicated my annoyance at the schedule change. The guy was very apologetic and offered to come back though he was no longer available at the scheduled time which I had blocked off on my calendar.
However, we ended up talking about the project over the phone and he was able to give me all the information I needed about the potential installation over the phone. He was very knowledgable and helpful. So, I'd like to give them a "B" for punctuality though that doesn't seem to really fit the situation. So they get all As despite this little hitch.

"Closed the deal on Friday, the next morning 5 guys including the owner Rocky were on site. They removed the old condenser and the entire oil heating system. Then installed the new condenser / heat pump outside and the air handling system inside including an air purification system. The crew was friendly and professional. They completed the entire removal, install and clean up without a problem. My wife and I could not be happier with the results. Thanks to Rocky and his team and to Greg Kim the sales rep who's impressive knowledge helped us make the right choice for our home. "Howard came and looked at the issue and gave me an estimate. Once I contacted him to schedule the appointment, I received an appointment in less than a week. The door sweep was an add-on on that he fixed that same day for one of the doors. The other door we had to research and find an appropriate door sweep. He helped me find the door sweep and it was ordered online. Once it came in, Harold installed within a couple of days. For some reason the first caulk did not work on my shower tile. Harold came back and fixed within one week with a different caulk. This caulk is working fine. I was happy with the service and would definitely use Howard again."
