"The engineer came out but it took a couple of days. There were some other faults with the problem. It wasn't just necessarily a tune-up problem. He found some other things wrong and basically addressed that as well. They got in contact with me quickly. For the deal, there were no additional charges but there were some other things wrong with the heating and air conditioning unit that needed to be addressed that were outside of what was covered. I was okay with that. Everything's working fine now. He needed additional parts. He completed the job in three days."

"Mike's team did a great job, installing a new HVAC system, including all equipment, ductwork, insulation, piping, controls, etc. Install in a home without existing duct or central HVAC. System included a combination ducted system for 1st floor and mini split system for 2nd floor (this system, as recommended by Major League, best suited for the existing conditions, accommodating the different zones/heat loads between the 1st & 2nd floor, and the fact that there was limited space for duct work for the 2nd floor ). 1. Work was completed as quoted, and competitively priced 2. Well coordinated, and worked around challenging existing conditions such as plumbing and tight crawl spaces, furnishings, etc. 3. Well organized and planned installation. 4. Very knowledgeable 5. Options/details recommendations (such as locations of diffusers, returns, stats, etc.) were discussed/reviewed with me. 6. Work was completed as scheduled. 7. I would highly recommend them"

"We had our blower motor burn out in our furnace. I called them in the morning and they came right out within a couple of hours and the technician explained what exactly was going on and had the new motor in stock and installed in no time. Very profession and courteous service and the tech. even took the time to walk me through what he needed to do. I will be getting on a service plan with this company in the Spring as they are the real deal and trustworthy."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

Probably not. Moving a boiler to a new location is a very different prospect from replacing it in the same spot, and significantly more expensive. Plus, boilers are typically carefully positioned in proximity to pipes and radiators when installed. Homeowners may want to move boilers to free up space, prevent freezing problems that have happened in winter, or solve a noise issue—but it’s a much more costly proposition.

Since your boiler keeps you warm and provides hot water to your home, you’re likely to notice issues with heating in your living space right away. The most obvious sign that your boiler is breaking is not getting any heat or hot water. You might also hear some odd sounds coming from your boiler during operation, the flame in your gas boiler is not blue, the pressure is inconsistent, or your boiler is using more energy than it should. If you notice any of these signs, be sure to call a pro right away.

Costs depend on system size, efficiency rating, and additional features like zoning or smart controls.

Yes. In many cases, switching from an old furnace to a high-efficiency boiler can help you save money over time. You can also save money by switching from an electric boiler to a gas boiler, which costs much less compared to the energy bills an electric boil can create. Boilers are often (but not always) more efficient than furnaces, too. Then there are discounts, rebates, and incentives that can help you save on the initial costs.

Chilled water HVAC systems use water instead of traditional components and refrigerants. They're more common in commercial settings than residential ones but are slowly being adopted by some homebuilders to cool homes. As the name implies, the system keeps the water chilled at 40 degrees and circulates it through water coils. The water absorbs the heat from your home and drains outdoors. Condo apartments are more likely to have chilled water HVAC than single-family homes because this system is designed to cool several rooms or large areas individually.
