I inquired about just replacing my 40 year old boiler which was not working after a dusty mess of a basement demolition (in addition to other questions). They had the opportunity to steer me in that expensive direction, but they instead told me of the challenges the new boilers have, and to periodically have old trusty cleaned and serviced instead. "I initially called Shaffer Plumbing and a Plumber came out to assess the situation. We were told that our cold water line was leaking and our old water heater needed to be replaced. The Plumber 1st repaired the leak and replaced valve. As we supplied the water heater the Plumber returned a few days later, installed the new water heater, cleaned up beautifully and removed the old water at no additional charge!!"

During the inspection, he found that one of the units unrepairable. He recommended to replace it with a new unit. I agreed with his recommendation as the unit was more than 25 years old. Next day he gave me an estimate and the unit comes with 10 years warranty on parts and 5 years on labor.I called few other companies to compare prices and services. I found the prices offered by Mr. Henry was the best. Although I had some doubts about the brand "Goodman", Mr. Henry convinced me that he installed hundreds of units and had no problems. As agreed, he installed the unit within a week. He came back after three days to check if the unit is working properly. So far the unit is working very efficiently.
