"We have lived in our now 108 year-old house in the Silver Spring, Maryland(MD), 20905 for 20 years. During that time we've had an inadaquete gravity heater that unevenly heated the first floor (and made lots of noise while at it) and no heating or air conditioning for the second floor where we sleep. Having had enough, this winter we called Sycoy after reading the rave reviews on Angi. Who was this "Sucoy" that so many reviews talked about? We met Sucoy first-thing when he came to give us a quote. A real people-person with obvious pride in his family and the business they run. He assessed our situation and recommended a creative solution to our problem. The upstairs work posed unexpected challenges, but his crew was committed to getting it done and getting it done right. He brought in a contractor and an electrician (both named Clarence) and a installation crew (both named Juan) that were all delightful and obviously skilled. Everyone bent over backwards to make accommodations to our schedules, at their own expense. They were regularly on the phone to each other coordinating the work - a real team. For the first week after the installation we wandered around the house marveling at the even temperature and the quiet operation of the equipment. The experience was entirely positive. It was a pleasure to do business with Su-Coy Heating A/C & Duct Cleaning."

"Michael arrived exactly on time and took me to sign a lease on my new apartment, stopping twice along the way so I could buy a money order for the security deposit.  He had memorized directions to the new place, which were complicated - we had no problems finding the place and he got me there right on time.  Picking out my apartment and signing the lease took much longer than expected and he waited patiently for over an hour and a half.  He then brought me home.  This was the second time I had used his service and I was just as pleased the second time as the first.  I had to reschedule twice and he was very pleasant about it - in fact he was very pleasant and professional in all our interactions. Even though it took longer than expected and even though I had to reschedule twice, he did not charge me extra.   I would highly recommend him and will use him in the future.

"Grove and Son did an outstanding job first doing a general check of the unit, then a leak check, and finally refilling the refrigerant. They showed up on time and managed to get to me in only a couple of days! Travis was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing in no nonsense terms. "Our service technician was David. He arrived earlier than expected and went straight to work. Our new pump was installed in less than one hour. We were pleased with the work. He came after hours 6:30pm and did not charge an exorbitant fee. He was pleasant and very informative when asked questions. If there was a topic he was not familiar with he answer "I'm not sure". I like reliable companies with professional employees. We had another plumber come earlier and wanted to charge us $452 dollars for a 1/2 HP pump that cost on average $242, $200 for accessories for installation (I paid $276 taxes included for pump and accessories), labor charge to go and pick up the pump and to install the pump. His price $1252. I was told that it was considered an emergency so that is why the price was so high. This was the morning two days after the flood. After we got the pump we called several times and no response as of yet, He's off my list completely. I share this illustration so that buyers can make educated decisions about how best to spend their money. I don't assume that the plumber whose charges were 50% higher than anyone else I called on Angies List. I simply say do your homework and know what is considered a fair price. "Promptly returned email regarding service request, on Saturday. Responded same day to repair 2Ton Geo unit (Waterfurnace). Extremely knowable on geo-thermal systems, the repairs were made in timely manner at a fair price, my only regret on this geo unit is I should have had Continental install the system in the first place, it’s seems very likely I would not be haveing the maintenance issues."

The overall work was good but could not give 5 stars due to minor details (slight exposed hole in ceiling, flex duct used instead of solid construction, a leftover loose tile). Important to consider Anthony's price came in lower than others so the install was a bargain. Would recommend if you don't mind little details and want a job done quickly and affordably."
