When the saw I was missing some components for the microwave installation, they took it upon themselves to go out and find the right components for me so I didn't need to worry about it. They came back promptly the next morning, and were able to install my microwave. and it looks GREAT!! They then helped me install a new light fixture while also repairing several other lights around the house. Many contractors can do this stuff. But what set Brian and B.C.G. Building Solutions apart was his wilingness to explain all the tools and techniques to me in ways I could understand. "Hired to turn an old, unfinished, former utility room with concrete floors into a fourth bedroom/home office in our basement. Brice listened to our concerns about the room and was able to maximize the space and make it a cozy, comfortable and frequently used room in our home, along with increasing the home value. This project included: New window installation. Brice took out an old, thin, dated window and installed an energy efficient egress window that matched the style of the newer windows in the rest of the house. Brice was able to create a full functional closet by borrowing a little space from the relocated utility room on the other side of this room’s walls. I wanted a ceiling fan in the room but didn’t think we had the height for it. He was able to frame around the ductwork and other obstacles so I could have a flush mounted ceiling fan! Drywall, floor, paint, and electrical were well done and Brice made solid product suggestions along the way. Very Happy!"

"Handyman on Call came to provide me with an estimate for installing a beam that was required in my basement to provide additional support for a large jacuzzi tub in the bathroom above. The beam had been engineered, and I provided a drawing of what was needed. I was impressed with the company because first of all, Paul came to give me an estimate on the beam and some other items. He was very thorough and detail oriented. An estimate was forwarded to me with a complete description of the work to be done. This was followed to the letter by the crew who arrived very punctually and started with all the right equipment going down to the basement from the gitgo – laser level, radial saw, power nailer etc. ( I hate people who arrive without a laser level.) The job was completed perfectly within about 3 hours including full clean-up. I was really impressed and will certainly ask them back for future work. Real professionals."
