"I am having a truly unpleasant experience with 7th State Builders. I paid 14,450.00$ deposit in good faith. They were contracted to rebuild my deck, place a roof structure and screen on the deck. I trusted that they would complete the work. Instead, they took my money and one year later had not even started on the project. Not only did they fail to perform the agreed-upon services for the deck, but I was forced to hire an attorney to try and recover my deposit. Which I haven?t yet (over one year). Thus, creating unnecessary expenses to an already frustrating situation. I would strongly advise against using this company. Had I chosen either of them, my door would have been operational, but because of its age, would no doubt be in need of additional service a few years down the road. While Elite's bid was the highest, I feel confident that I made the best choice in hiring them to repair my garage door. Not only was John professional, polite, and punctual, he very patiently explained the purpose and function of all the new hardware he installed, as well as how to keep the garage door opening and closing smoothly for years to come.
