Angel and his team helped with several large remodeling projects— including a kitchen, too and two full bathrooms— as well as numerous repairs on our 170+ year old Capitol Hill row house. He was always prompt and professional and gave thoughtful recommendations.

Wall to Wall is one of the most professional contractors I have ever experienced. I have work with the company since 2018. Overtime the completed a variety of projects, Including roof repair, remodeling kitchen and bathroom, floor installation, refurbished bedrooms. Angel Tuesta (President) offered recommendations and options as the work progressed. He even calmed my nerves when I needed to get permits for some work! Even though my house is in the DC area, I live in another state. I received phone calls, videos on a regular basis so I was never in the dark about how the work was progressing. The work team were focused, thorough, and respectful of the property as they completed their tasks on schedule. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Wall to Wall Construction for any residential work. I now have them on speed dial!

I would highly recommend Wall to Wall Construction, Inc. if you want an honest, reliable, and fair pricing general contractor. Following a massive snowstorm in 2016, I had water coming into my basement. My basement was under construction with a contractor who I shall not name but who stated the water coming into the basement wasn't their problem. Not having time to debate, I went on a search for waterproofing companies both on and off Angie's List. After meeting with several companies that specialize in waterproofing techniques, I decided to try a general contractor, and I contacted Wall to Wall. Julio Angel met me at my home for the appointment, and he was amiable and on time. I walked Julio through my basement, and I showed him where the water was coming in – intruding water was still visible. Julio noticed that I was having work done on my basement as there was a new concrete floor, framing, electrical and plumbing rough-ins. Concerned Julio asked me whether any inspections took place on the work done in my basement. I only knew about a framing inspection but nothing else. At that point, Julio commented to me that I might have a bigger problem on my hands other than just water coming into the basement. Julio observed sheared footers, a new slab, and rough-in plumbing that would require inspections if they hadn't already taken place. Julio suggested and recommended me to a structural engineer to have the footers and structure inspected. As it went, Julio had good reason to be concerned about what he saw, along with shoddy un-workman like construction the first contractor structurally comprised my home. I ended up hiring Julio to provide me with a report showing other construction deficiencies in the work that was performed by the other contractor. Julio with Wall to Wall Construction brought my attention to serious construction deficiencies. Along the way, Julio made himself available to any construction and process questions I had. While it was stressful to learn and resolve, I appreciate Julio's honesty, concern, and openness about my construction project. If not for Julio, I would have a finished and closed basement with unknown structural issues and construction problems. I trust Julio completely when it comes to construction. He takes his time to understand your needs and the scope of your project. He educated me on the how's and why's, and I trust him to perform the underpinning work that needs to be done to fix the shoddy work done previously. Big or small Wall to Wall is who I will always recommend to my family and friends. I'm grateful to Julio, thanks!

We loved working with Angel and the Wall to Wall Construction team. They were professional, hard working, patient, honest and did excellent work. We have been remodeling our nearly 150 year old house for the last year and not only did Angel do a great job with the major renovations but he also patiently worked through an extensive “to do” list of minor repairs and follow up work fixing mistakes made by a previous contractor. He was always very responsive and thorough in explaining a problem and a solution. I would highly recommend working with him and will be working with him again very soon.

I was very pleased with the process and the finished result. Angel Tuesta Noel, the owner of the business, is very hands-on and responded quickly whenever I had questions or when we encountered the need to deviate from the architect’s plans. The whole project was completed in 4 1/2 months, with the only delay being due to coordination with DCRA inspectors. Angel had lots of suggestions for ways to enhance the overall design of the project and save me money.

We hired Angel and co. to do a full renovation of two bathrooms and our kitchen. We love the way our kitchen and bathrooms now look and everything was done very well. We have been getting a ton of compliments too from family and friends who visit our house. The project itself was not easy - our home is old and was built by the family we bought it from - and a lot of unexpected issues arose when we opened up walls and such. Angel always offered us a few solutions to choose from and never rushed our decision making. To top it off, I was pregnant during the renovation work and went into labor unexpectedly and very early. Angel and his guys prioritized the rest of the work and got it done for us before our baby came home from the hospital! Angel was also a pleasure to work with-- he's very patient, anticipates issues before they arise, and we enjoyed his company! We will be doing an addition to our home soon with Angel, too.

My life was "****" before Wall to Wall was hired to clean up a mess from a previous contractor on our family home. After receiving a Stop Work Order from the city, I had to find a general contractor immediately. I researched and communicated with several companies on Angie's List, and Wall to Wall was the one company that understood my issues and showed the interest to help me resolve them. They were not pushy or overbearing. They listened to me as I told them what I needed to happen and when. The other factor in this scenario is all transactions occurred long distance. Angel Tuesta was patient, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable; we had long and frequent conversations by phone. We talked about what needed to occur in stages. When we began the work on the addition (which prompted the SWO), his team was professional; they knew their job. The workmen were respectful of my property; work materials were organized and the property was kept as clean as possible. I received videos as the work progressed. They communicated with city inspectors and all work passed the multiple inspections (Halleluiah!!). As the work on the addition neared the end, I hired them to complete the work on remodeling the kitchen and main bath. I also had them remove decades old carpeting in the house and replace with beautiful hard wood floors, remove old wall paneling and strip and paint several rooms. The bathroom was enlarged, a bedroom was reconfigured, other bedrooms were painted with new flooring. When I visited the property, the kitchen and bath were totally transformed from an old 1950s look to contemporary styling; the bedrooms were bright. The high grade quality products (cabinets, granite countertops, flooring) installed by Wall to Wall were impeccable. One of the factors that impressed me so much with Wall to Wall is whatever needed to be done - electrical, plumbing, iron work,- Angel has the workmen to do the job in a timely manner. I never had to worry about having to find a workman to do anything special. Wall to Wall could handle my requests. We were able to accomplish all of this work a little less than one year. As I have repeatedly stated to Angel, I expect we will have a long relationship. I have other projects that are planned for the future (new patio, additional floor work, remodel basement). I will continue to work with the company because they are professional, reliable, produce quality work at a price that reflects the quality received. From my perspective, they do not deserve a grade of "A", they deserve a grade of "A+++" in all areas. Gracias, Angel !!

Angel Tuesta and Wall to Wall Construction Inc. has been my go-to savior for a number of projects. The last lengthy one was the beautiful addition to an upstairs bedroom that turned out wonderfully and has given us endless pleasure. We now call it the Beautiful Room. In June 2019, we had an unpleasant experience when a huge truck ran down our front yard fence in a shocking accident. Police came, and insurance was negotiated. When contacted, Angel Tuesta quickly arranged to have experienced crew come to do the extensive repair, and indeed the fence is better than ever. The same talented crew continued on into the house and replaced and repaired a Shower in a downstairs bathroom before houseguests arrived. To get to the shower plumbing, a wall had to be cut out, but was fully repaired, and one would never know it had been breached. Next was plumbing repair of the clogged kitchen sink, and reflooring of the sink cabinet damaged by water. Really great to have an operable kitchen sink, what with guests arriving. Over the years Angel Tuesta has remodeled most of the house, inside and out, including replacing all flooring with wonderful hardwood floors. Work has been done on time, estimates never exceeded, and clean-up superb. Any follow-up has been quickly seen to. I feel fortunate to have found this excellent construction company that fully lives up to its name -- Wall to Wall -- and that offers an extensive range of services. I cannot recommend this company, or Mr. Tuesta too highly.

The employee sent to do the estimate, never measured. He never gave me a business card or his name. He arrived early morning before I was going to work and when I got outside to discuss the measurements he asked me if I was certain that I owned all of the front of my yard. I explained to him that I most certainly did. He then says he wanted to see a plat. I further assured him that the property was mine and that I was working with a landscape architect, who had a copy of my plat and that he could speak with her. He said to have her call him. I find this somewhat backwards that he wanted her to contact him when he is the one bidding on the work. Then, he spoke about a prior customer in which the customer thought he owned his yard however, it turned out that he did not. I told the contractor, I understand that a previous individual/customer gave him erroneous information but that I do have a plat to prove that the entire yard is my property. My issues are as follows: • For an estimate, if your policy is to have a copy of the plat before an estimate, then it should be told to me prior to him coming to the house. This makes me think something happened when he arrived that made him want to be difficult. • If I selected Wall to Wall Construction to perform the work it totally makes sense that before beginning, I would be required to provide a copy of my plat rather than the condition of before. • No other contractors asked for a plat as a condition to give an estimate. However it is understood that before any work is done this will have to be provided. • I was on my way to work and being on time constraints I did not have time that morning to look through my files for the plat. This added frustration because I had to wait a few weeks for him to even come out and do an estimate. • Finally, I received no contact regarding the contractor returning to do the estimate. In closing, I do not think measurements were done which has caused me to go back and find an additional contractor. I have reached out to the company and no one has returned my calls.
Response from Wall to Wall Construction, Inc
"Dear Angie’s List member, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that we were not able to be on the same page with you in regards to the completion of your estimate. The information that was requested of you during our meeting is always vital for us to complete an accurate estimate. We were not able to obtain this information through your teenage son, who came out to meet us. As we were leaving and getting into our vehicle after talking with your son, you came outside and began discussing your project. We asked for the the information you mentioned in your review, mainly for permitting purposes. We come across a lot of clients that are misled by contractors who will not talk about any kind of legal requirements, because they just want the job. We expressed that we needed this information, so that we can work on your estimate. You also mentioned that you had a designer who was working on the design of the wall, which was very helpful information, as well. We requested that you contact your designer to facilitate an introduction and share the wall design with us. The final and definitive answer we obtained from you was: “you are making it too difficult for me, just give me the estimate.” Unfortunately, we could not complete your estimate with any accuracy due to the aforementioned issues. We wish you the best with your project."

We have worked with Angel a number of times on projects for our house and our experience has always been really good. This time Angel and his team remodeled our bathroom and refreshed our kitchen. The bathroom was given a new vanity, fixtures and toilet in addition to a custom built wood shelf and fresh coat of paint. Our kitchen had a refresh with repainted cabinets, recessed led lights (these replaced a single old fashioned light we had) and new pendant lights over the kitchen island. Once again, everything was done on schedule and the work went really well from start to finish. Angel answered all of our questions/concerns and at times even offered suggestions/guidance. We cannot thank Angel and his team enough for the beautifully finished work - they have totally transformed our house!

My wife and I were nervous to undertake a large project on our recently purchased Capitol Hill townhouse. Most anecdotes of this type of work are normally horror stories that include major falling out between all parties. I'm extremely grateful to report this was not the case with our experience with Wall to Wall. Angel was responsive and attentive from the beginning. He was the most informative and patient during the bidding process and gave a very competitive estimate. We employed an architectural firm to plan the work with whom Angel and his guys worked well in tandem. This was a long project and problems came up which were navigated well. Angel also completed our project on budget. We're very pleased with the work Angel and his guys did for us. We will be using them again.

We purchased an historic home (built in 1920s) that needed to be completely updated, while maintaining the historical details like millwork, hardwood floors, original doors, etc. I am an interior designer and use Angel Tuesta from Wall to Wall for the majority of my jobs. This job was a large-scale project one that he did for my family personally and he did not disappoint. Our project included a full gut and replacements of both full bathrooms, the kitchen, HVAC, roof, masonry and exterior work. Angel's crew at Wall to Wall was professional, timely and diligent. As unexpected issues arose (they always do), Angel communicated them in real time and always presented a solution to keep the project moving forward. Angel is an excellent project manager and goes the extra mile for his clients to ensure that his projects run smoothly and his clients are happy. He respected my budget and made helpful suggestions about how to allocate my dollars. He is thoughtful about the details and delivers high-quality work. I highly recommend Angel and his team for any sized project!

Angel provides an excellent experience when you partner with him to do any house project. This is the third time we have worked with him and we wouldn't go anywhere else. He provides a personal touch throughout the project, from accurate estimates at the outset to updates as things progress. Anytime deviations from the plans arise, Angel provides options to navigate the obstacles. The workmanship is excellent and the workers are all prompt, timely, respective and they keep the work site clean and safe. We originally were only planning on getting the fireplaces installed, however, during the project I noticed that my water heater was showing signs of needing to be replaced. Angel was able to give me a great price and replace it within a week. It was a really quick turn around. All in all, Wall to Wall construction provides reliable and honest service at extremely reasonable rates.

We wanted an old bathtub removed and replaced with a rain shower. In addition the basement kitchen cupboards were hiding a growing damp problem. Angel Tuesta gave a reasonable quote for both jobs, allowed us to have complete flexibility as the work proceeded giving us straightforward estimates of any price implications. The result is a wonderful and beautifully constructed shower room and a very practical and elegant new kitchen.

We had a lengthy glassed in porch extension to a bedroom, that the previous owner had do-it-yourself added, remodeled. After many years, rain and wear and tear had caused the beginning of detachment of the original addition. Wall to Wall Construction completely removed, designed and replaced with an addition that is both stunningly beautiful and professional looking. We are very happy with the high quality and design beauty of this lovely addition. While there was major disruption with a bedroom/study out of commission, W-2-W did all they could to reduce the annoyance of upset. The workers came on time, were cheerful, and professional. Construction materials were carefully hauled up narrow stairs, carpets were covered and protected, and work areas were straightened up, swept and vacuumed each night before departure. When working outside on the roofing, etc., care was taken of the garden and plants, and no debris was left to impede major walkways. Julio Tuesta Noah (president of W-2-W) directed, advised, and checked in regularly. Finances were discussed ahead of time, and there were no surprise additional costs. This is one of the best projects we've done with the house and well worth the cost -- both in terms of beauty and efficiency, and in just adding to the value of the house. I have used Wall to Wall before, and cannot recommend too highly.

This is the third time we have worked with Angel and the Wall to Wall Construction team. As always, these guys are the best. Overall, Angel is excellent at communication and they make sure the job is done as the customer wants it at a reasonable price. For this project, we turned an unused space in our home into a wet bar. Construction would include fixing drywall, moving plumbing, installing cabinets, installing recessed lighting, installing a built in kegerator, and installing a tile back splash. This was all completed in an unlevel room, making the job a bit challenging. Angel's estimate came in right in at the final cost and the timeline of three months was met (there was a significant pause as we waited for the cabinets/counters to be fabricated and delivered - all expected). In the end, we were very pleased with the end result and look forward to working with Wall to Wall Construction on our next project. One important thing to note: what makes Wall to Wall Construction better than the rest is Angel's dedication to customer satisfaction. He takes the time to answer all questions and go above and beyond to get the job done right. Further, he is always available for a call and answers all questions sent to him via email or text - I do not know many other contractors that make this kind of commitment to their clients.

I originally contacted Wall to Wall in the spring of 2015 for an estimate on rebuilding the front porch, which was a deteriorating mess of squirrel-infested rotten wood, peeling paint, and damaged support columns. I got estimates from four companies, all of which had good Angie's List reviews. The estimates ranged about $4000 between lowest and highest. Wall to Wall's was in the middle. At the time, I decided I would follow up with Wall to Wall because their estimate was the most detailed and easy to understand, and Angel, the owner, was pleasant to talk to and gave me the most confidence in the quality of the work to be performed. As it turned out, life circumstances intervened, and I didn't follow up until two years later. It says a lot about this company's philosophy and approach to customers that Angel did not increase the cost but honored his original estimate. The work on the front porch took place over several weeks and went smoothly. The team efficiently tore down the old porch and installed new wood, new support columns, new railings, a new electrical fixture and new roof. Everything was painted, except the ceiling, which was given a nice wood stain. The front porch turned out better than I expected, and I wish I'd had this done years ago. Since I was happy with the front porch and since the back porch was also a deteriorating, squirrel-infested mess of peeling paint and rotting wood, I decided to hire Wall to Wall to rebuild that one, too. The back porch was a more complicated, two-story, partially enclosed structure and required them to put more thought and effort into the rebuild, but I am equally happy with the result. The third project was a set of interior improvements to my 102-year-old house that included window and door replacements, plumbing and electrical tasks, and plaster repair and painting. The plaster and painting included completing some work begun by another company. The other company specialized in plaster, which was why I'd hired them, but they made a mess of my stairwell, took far too long, charged too much, and did not properly contain/clean up the dust that is inherently part of this type of work. Wall to Wall took over this project, made my stairwell (and hallway and bathroom) beautiful, and did it all more efficiently, more cost effectively, and with a minimum of dust. I am also happy with the new windows and other improvements. I will note that it took over a month after the windows were ordered before they were ready to install, but Wall to Wall got them at a good price, which made them worth the wait — just something to note on the timing of that type of project. Overall, I found Angel and his team (they work directly for him, not subcontractors) friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. Over the course of these projects, I had many questions but could always reach Angel via email or phone, and he was always responsive. If you're like me and you find the prospect of even small home improvements scary and bewildering, they will reassure you, answer your questions, and make everything seem easy. This company is the best of the best. I highly recommend them and plan to hire them for future projects.

I am very pleased with the work that Wall to Wall did for us. After eight contractors came out to the house to give us a quote, Wall to Wall was the only one that actually got back to us with a quote. We live in SE DC, and one contractor told me that he knows crews that refuse to work in the area due to crime. So I was very pleased that Angel did not turn us down due to where we live. (They had no issues while they were here, that I know of.) The quality of the work itself was good, and when we had an issue or concern, Angel and Giovanni were responsive, helpful, friendly and honest in addressing them. They were also willing to order certain things that we needed without upcharging. I do wish that the job had been finished more quickly, but most of that was our fault for not securing the permits on time and for taking too long to decide on certain design features. Overall, I would recommend Wall to Wall for a similar kitchen remodel.

As with our previous experience, Wall to Wall exceeded our expectations. They adjusted the start date schedule to accommodate us, then worked quickly and neatly, tidying up and sealing the space at the end of each workday, and did a beautiful job. Of note, they were incredibly careful that any amount of dust/debris from the removal of old mortar never escaped the work space, protecting all vents, opening windows to facilitate flow, etc. Our toddler has asthma, and he suffered zero ill effects from the work even though his bedroom is only feet away down the hall, so we were especially aware of this and grateful for their expert care.

Angel's advice and expertise are 2nd to none! He professionally and patiently guided us through the entire project - the deck and electrical heavy up being getting done at the end of 2016 and the kitchen renovation being done in the beginning of 2017 (about 8 weeks). His blueprint and design for such a small space came together so well, even Angel thought it came together better than expected! Angel kept me informed of every step (which includes a lot more than I thought) for the kitchen renovation. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism, knowledge & expertise, and overall FANTASTIC job that Wall to Wall has done with EVERY project I've hired them for.
