"I contacted Granite Vision and spoke with Roni, explaining that because the vanity was in an awkward place in this small bathroom, I needed help to decide what was required. Joseph and another member came within a couple of days to assess the situation, make recommendations, and take measurements. Joseph then emailed pictures of various granite slabs since I was unable to get to their site, and within a week his team installed the top, offset sink, and my faucet. Both their installer and plumber readily answered all questions. Also, because I have add'l bathroom remodeling to do, I asked Joseph for any recommendations he may have for providers with whom he's worked who do smaller jobs and are good. "I was combining bright white cabinets on the perimeter of my kitchen with a walnut peninsula.  That required either getting a single granite that would work with both or two granites that would work with the different woods and each other.  I had searched on my own a couple of times and was leaning toward a particular granite.   Nick was able to talk me out of a bad decision.  He then very patiently evaluated dozens of granites with me, pointing out potential problems with some, narrowing down to others.  His expertise with stone helped me to choose beautiful slabs that work perfectly in my kitchen.  I then purchased the slabs and they were delivered to his shop. 
His process (customer buys slab, Nick's crew fabricates the countertop) yields left-over stone in his shop.  From this, he chose a perfect stone for my laundry room.  He measured, then his crew installed a week later.
For the kitchen, he was able to install less than a week after measuring.  That is amazingly fast turnaround for granite fabrication.  The granites were fabricated perfectly and look gorgeous.  Very professional crew.
Overall, it was a terrific experience.  Stonework is as much art as craft.  Nick has great taste and is willing to share that with his customers to help them make great choices.

"Once Mr. Wilkerson arrived, I told him the problem I was having with my sink. He then started performing the work to unclog my drain. It did not take that long for him to unclog my drain and he checked to make sure it was running fine before he left. I continued to monitor the flow of the water draining in the sink. It has been a week since he performed the work on my sink and I have not had any problems so far."

"The worker arrived on time and started the job. Within two hours he was finished and my tub looked magnificent, brand new! He gave me instructions on how to care for the new glaze and , cleaned up the debris very nicely. ."

"They were running behind on another job so they started our job 1 day late. The disturbing part was that I got the original phone msg that they would be there as scheduled but I didn't get the next one telling me that they would be one day later...nevertheless, they arrived bright and early the second day, the workers were very professional, and they handled my house very well as far as putting down plastic where they walked. The job turned out very nice. They completed the work today and we can't run any water in the tub or sinks yet, but barring anything unforeseen, I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. It really is pretty! I think it will be much easier to keep the tub clean now that it's resurfaced. The cost was much much better than getting the fitter over the old tub also! Very nice job!

"We needed to replace a toilet, James went with us to Home Depot to select one. We now have a water efficient and higher seated toilet, which is great for aging relatives that can’t bend so easily anymore. I would definitely hire/contract him again!"

"I got the Big Deal for one hour of labor. Two guys were sent to change the water filter under my kitchen sink that had become stuck. It took the brute force of two guys, so I'm glad they sent two. They reassembled the water filter in a way that I could provide self-service in the future. Quick, easy, done.

"KBR Kitchen and Bath (Fairfax) did an incredible job remodeling our upstairs bathrooms! We initially reached out to several companies for quotes, but we selected KBR because the designer (Silviya) made such a great impression when she came to our home to take measurements and to collect our requirements for the project. She asked great questions, gave helpful advice, and she helped us select the right design and materials to ensure that we ended up with bathrooms that we love. Throughout the project, the Project Manager, Omer, kept us informed of the process and schedule, answered our questions, and he ensured that communication between us, the subcontractors, and the crew doing the work was seamless. The crew was at our house from 8-5 every day, they put down drop cloths to cover the floor from the front door to the bathroom, and they cleaned up well before leaving each day. The team was led by Urias whose attention to detail, eye for design, and experience resulted in bathrooms that exceeded our expectations in every way. We were so impressed by Urias’ work that we added additional electrical work in the kitchen and basement onto our contract. I had heard so many horror stories about remodeling projects that drastically exceeded the budget and schedule, so I was expecting some surprises.
