"Kevin did a really great job. We needed to bring our stairs to code - the railing was too low and uneven and there weren't any spindles, leaving a big gap between the railing and the floor. He brought our stairs to code and painted the new railing to match the trim in our home. He did his best to repair unforeseen things - for example, our stairs are carpeted and to attach the new railing he needed to get an L-bracket underneath the carpeting which required a removal/reattachment of the carpeting and removing the old railing impacted the wood on the floor a bit and created a small crack, which he filled and stained to attempt to match our wood grain. He also repaired our pocket door, which fell off the track the night before he was scheduled to come for the stairs. We have a very old house, so a number of complicated things (really steep stairs, solid wood door trim that's really hard to remove, etc.) and he managed all of it really well and did the best job that could be done."
