MA Design & Construction CoWe had a great experience working with MA Design & Construction. They care about their work and make sure the customer is happy. We recently wrapped up several projects with them – kitchen and half bath remodel, new flooring, adding new recessed lights, new fireplace hearth and painting all of the first floor and stairwells going up and downstairs. From the beginning, both Marc and Raquel were super responsive, often within minutes and many times well outside of business hours. They listened to what we wanted and Raquel, Marc and their tile guy all offered wonderful suggestions that we did not think of. The initial estimate was accurate and within reason. We wound up going a little over because we needed a new sub-panel installed and decided to go with upgraded countertops. This was not because of any inaccurate forecasting. The team was organized and cleaned up every day. On top of everything, they finished the work earlier than we expected! MA Design & Construction CoI used MA Design & Construction for my kitchen remodel. Raquel and Marc were very helpful in going through the options from painting the existing cabinets through to full replacement. We started with more modest changes but after debate ended with essentially their initial recommendation. The workers throughout the project were professional and I never felt uneasy with them being around the family. As the project progressed there were recommendations that Marc or Raquel would make which led to a better outcome. Marc would also pick out imperfections in the work and insure they were addressed which was appreciated. We're very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to work with them again.- nick c.

This year we did reconstruction windows, interior and exterior painting, and transformed dated bookcases. Re-construction/new construction windows can be a challenge for an older home. MA Design worked to level the windows, and ensure sealing. These windows gave my home a facelift. The success and high level of customer satisfaction is a result of our collaboration. He helped with digging a 5 feet foundation from a 220 year old home and understood what needed to be done in order to ensure a safe work environment and to maintain the structural integrity while making it as expansive as possible. Step by Step Home Improvement Corp.Geferson is a pleasure to work with. He was recommended to us for a basement bathroom project, and he did an amazing job. He was very patient with our design changes, and when something didn't fit properly he found creative solutions. The finished project is beautiful and two years later looks brand new. Our second project was a complete redo of all the cabinetry in the laundry room, and again it looks perfect. Finally, he did a strange project for us during the pandemic. Our back porch was a disaster underneath, and he cleaned the junk and bad dirt down four inches, put in a trellis and chicken wire, and filled it with clean stones. Voila, instant huge outside playroom for our cats. They absolutely love it. Geferson communicates very well and charges fair prices. He likes to charge only for the labor and actual construction material, and you pick and pay for all the fixtures, paint, tile, etc. That way you get exactly what you want. He is completely insured and bonded, but works by himself with associates coming in when needed. Like all contractors, he does several jobs at once, so he may disappear for a day or two, but we've never felt that things were stretched out too far. We are just starting out on a major rebuild of two more bathrooms, and looking forward to working with Geferson again!- Brian B.

Olde England Painting is amazing! They were what every home owner dreams of for repairs. I hired them for painting my house (2 story dutch colonial) which sorely needed a lot of work with peeling paint and rotted wood in several places. Their quote was a bit lower than the highest I had but Paul Adkins was so very professional and explained every step and the materials he would use so well that I was convinced he would be a good choice - and he absolutely was. Paul and his crew exceeded my expectations. The job took 7 days and each day they cleaned up in the evening and set up promptly the next morning. The cleaning, priming, wood repairs, painting, trim were all done perfectly. They even found when replacing a board on the porch that behind it was a wooden medallion that had been hidden for decades. After showing me they renovated the whole thing and painted it to look like beautiful brass at no additional charge. Further, after seeing the great job they did on cleaning the house cedar shingles, I asked them to do my wood deck which they did beautifully. Paul suggested a sealant that has made the deck look completely new. In hind sight the cost was the best money I have spent in many years and unquestionably the best work I have ever had done. No delays, exceptionally skillful, and truly professional.

Working with Barry Keane was great. He was easy to contact, came for an estimate quickly, and was flexible in the work done and when to do it. We had a wall that had been ruined when we took off a fake headboard the old owners used liquid nails on. They fixed the wall and made the whole room beautiful with a fresh paint job. They were efficient and kept the place clean. We highly recommend Barry Keane Painting and would gladly use them again.

Very professional. Wonderful experience. From the call that generated a visit, we promptly received the quote, engaged in their services. They worked diligently to complete the project. The power wash alone did wonders on the house. The manager assisted us with color selections including multiple samples that required multiple visit. They are meticulous with the work- and very attentive to detail, not to mention very pleasant. Overall, we love the work they did, both on the outside and inside. We would definitely hire them again.

Very pleased with Target Painting. I needed the interior of my home painted ASAP, and, they made it happen. Lucas did the estimate. The next Tuesday, Paolo did the wall prep. (Both were very nice young men. Very approachable and easy to talk to.) Three days later it was done. And it looks Beautiful!!! I am so happy. Would definitely use them again. Also, a big shout-out to the ladies in the office for their help with the contract and in choosing the right shades of color. They were very patient with me which I appreciated.
