"We made an unplanned move to a new house and needed a few rooms painted in the 2.5 weeks available before we had to move in. I called around and Cassio said he could get it done on time so we went with them. I was so lucky to have found them!! The entire team was incredible. A "few rooms" grew to the entire 2nd floor, and then a couple rooms on the 1st floor, and then the entire 1st floor, and then the entire basement! Every few days I asked a little more and each time Cassio made it happen. He brought more painters over, they arrived early, stayed late, worked weekends etc. We also had floors being installed, an electrical revamp, plumbing, mini-splits installed, etc., and Cassio's team was incredibly accommodating and moved around as needed to maximize efficiency of the entire house renovation, not just his team's work. Everybody commented on how friendly they were and what an outstanding job they did. I won't even consider using anybody else in the future. I highly recommend!!"

But since I didn't have much time before the re-inspection, I did not get estimates, just hired the first company I hired. So it's possible that this was a good price and in that case, I would rate excellent!"

While assessing the job, Mateus (the owner) pointed out a lot of additional details to think about, such as carpentry work for rotted boards, trim color (he pointed out how the trim was not painted in a consistent color scheme), and he suggested that the foundation and bulkhead door should also be painted. He also helped us with selecting colors that blend well together. A last minute addition was to replace and paint the stairs (treads and risers) to our enclosed deck, as those were also rotting, During the job, Mateus was there with his crew every day (non-rainy) as early as possible, and stayed until dark, until the job was completed. At all times the team seemed to work quite efficiently, and were very polite and pleasant. All along the way, Mateus helped us understand the steps of the required work, answered all the questions we had, and provided great guidance when we needed to make a decision, such color selection and material choices for replacing trim boards. You may need to provide your own paint, depending on the agreement you make with the painter. Some painters prefer that you buy the paint and they supply the labor. However, some professional painters get a better price on paint and can pass that savings along to you even after accounting for labor costs.
The average cost to paint a ceiling ranges from $3 to $8.50 per square foot, which is about $1 to $2.50 more per square foot than the cost to paint the walls. Rooms with high ceilings require working from a ladder or scaffolding and often include trim or detail work, which adds to the final price.
Professional painters charge $20 to $50 per hour, on average. Hourly rate cost factors include the complexity of the paint job, the type of paint, the height of the walls and ceiling, and the type of prep and repairs needed.
