Allied Pest Control is a small family run company. 3 employees. We give very personal service you cannot receive from larger companies. We do not have sales personal. We price the jobs and do the work ourselves. The carpenters hold Massachusetts Superintendent licenses. We are a registered Home Improvement Contractor with the state. Licensed pest control with the state.

"Our buyers had their inspection done last week at our condo. Their realtor and the buyer were with the inspector the whole time while the 2 employees at Allied were doing their inspection alone. Later that night when my wife and I return home my wife realized that all of her prescription pills were stolen (almost 3 full bottles worth). The employee was a man named George and was working with a younger man. To anyone or realtor looking to get inspections I'd think twice about hiring these guys."

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

A mobile home inspection thoroughly assesses a manufactured or mobile home's structural and functional aspects. A certified inspector examines the home's condition, including its foundation, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, insulation, flooring, and overall structural integrity. The goal is to identify any potential issues, safety hazards, or necessary repairs. The inspector provides a detailed report summarizing the findings, highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the home, and often includes an estimate for the remaining life span of appliances, systems, and components.

It is not safe to live in a house with smoke damage—even minor smoke damage can lead to long-term health hazards and structural risks. Smoke smells and residue contain particulates and chemical compounds that are dangerous to breathe in and can damage your belongings and your home’s structural materials. Have a trained professional assess your home after a fire to determine when it’s safe to return.

It’s a good idea to be present for a home inspection so the inspector has access to anything they need for the inspection and so you can ask the home inspector questions if necessary. You don’t need to shadow the inspector while they’re conducting the inspection—in fact, it’s better if you don’t—but don’t go too far in case they need access to something or have any questions.

Annually, especially before the heating season, chimneys require an inspection to uphold conditions and maximize safety.

At a minimum, landlords typically perform an apartment home inspection before tenants move in and after they move out. Most lease agreements include a “right to entry” clause allowing for “inspection by the landlord.” They do this to check for damage, identify repairs and maintenance needs, and ensure tenants are following property rules.
