"I contacted Mulligan Painting based off reviews here and local word of mouth. They returned the call within a few hours. Came out for a quote at the time I was available and from that moment on I knew I made the right choice. Gerry (the owner) was polite, knowledgeable and very patient. I had lots of questions and concerns because of the age of the shingles and the previous materials used. He answered all my questions and eased all my concerns. The job started within a week or so once I decided on a color ( thanks to some great suggestions by Gerry). His team arrived on time and I honestly can’t say enough about ALL of them. The precautions they took draping my landscape, fences and anything that might be in their way was impressive. They were all beyond polite and helpful and got right to work. I didn’t once see a worker sitting, Texting/talking on their phones or taking advantage of the many seating areas we have in our yard. They worked hard -through some very hot days- and they take their job very serious. Kyle was the contact guy on the job and he is meticulous! Simple things like matching up the correct size to shingles that needed to be replaced to replacing slats on eve windows that I didn’t even know were a thing. They even cleaned and checked the gutters-something I would’ve had to hire another company to do had they not taken care of it-without even asking!!! Once they were done with the house they were able to restain the deck for us. Any loose paint was cleared away without a trace and done so methodically that I was able to walk out on the deck as soon as the van was packed up. I honestly can’t find a single negative thing to comment about. Clean, Polite, Affordable and just all around great bunch of workers. Feeling safe with and being able to trust unknown contractors in and around your home, and no surprise/hidden costs is something I put the highest value on. Gerry, Kyle and his team exceeded my expectations. My house looks beautiful! Highly recommend this company"

"We had purchased a package from A&D after their first use of Angie's List. They were so overwhelmed with customers that it took awhile for A&D to come out to our house to perform the service. The package was a full house exterior window cleaning for $89.00. I explained that 4 of our windows were very high as we have a vaulted ceiling, and that 2 of those windows are as high as a third floor window because they are on the back of the house which is above the walk- out finished basement.
The owner said that he would send out his crew to do all of the windows except for the high ones, as he wanted to do those, and he couldn't come out on that day.
My husband was home when they came, and hadn't been involved in all my communications with A&D. The company cleaned all the windows they said they would, and did a fabulous job. The windows were sparkling. Even in the afternoon glare they were spotless. However, the crew left a bill for an additional $ 90.00 to clean the rest of the windows. Prior to the company coming, there was no mention of additional charges. I was very disappointed in that, and did not have the rest of the windows cleaned, as I felt that A&D didn't live up to the original agreement. I realize that our windows are not all easily accessible, but in the conversations I had with the owner, we spoke several times of the window configuration, and he never mentioned that there would be extra charges.

"I am grateful that I received a referral for Gabe's painting services. I needed to have my upstairs bedroom ceiling, a high stairway ceiling, and walls painted. Gabe's response time was quick, and he and his crew arrived on time. They were all very professional throughout the entire process. The price was affordable and fair, and to my surprise, they even painted the trim along the windows, floor and doors without charging me extra. "Great experience overall, he was able to come over and inspect the damage within a few hours of the call. He was the only one of 3 companies that showed up ready to work, the others just sent estimators to schedule work when their crews were available. Because I had enough spare shingles at the house, I was able to have him do the repairs that afternoon and they have held up great through the rest of the winter. His price was reasonable, 1 estimate was well over and the other a little under, but they weren't ready to work. Hopefully I won't have the need for him again for awhile, but when I do have other repairs needed. He'll be my first call."
