"Bob Phalan has done many projects for me over the past four years. Some have been very small and straightforward (replacing weatherstripping, hanging pictures, fixing light fixtures, etc.). Others have been large (painting an entire condo, for example.). But what really distinguishes Bob's work from that of others is his ability to apply his ingenuity when a solution is not obvious. For example, he had to figure out how to construct enhancements to the exterior of my home to prevent insect penetration and nesting of birds in circumstances where there was no "off the shelf" solution available and his original creations have been quite successful. In addition, he is a pleasure to work with. He is definitely my "go-to" guy for all sorts of handyman work."

"Installed two heavy window air conditioners, lugging them up from garage under to first floor. Appt was scheduled for 9:30 am, called them at 10:15 and unfortunately the owner had had a very bad night with his mother in hospice care. Finally came at 11:20. They were willing to wear masks inside our house. Installation went very quickly and smoothly. They knocked $25 off their usual minimum hourly rate because of the delay. Very friendly, would definitely hire them again (and probably will for A/C removal in the Fall). Would have been 5 stars except for the arrival delay."
