He was honest about not knowing if he could guarantee the Hardie siding against woodpeckers but he gave me his list of references. The third call connected me with someone who also had woodpecker problems with wood siding. He confirmed that since the installation of Hardie concrete fiber siding, there has been no further woodpecker problem. Once convinced that this product would help resolve our issue, the process was smooth and fast. Contract signed, work started in 6 days and finished in 2. Excellent worksmanship (product appears almost seamless) and thorough clean up after the job. Our old house has settled and windows are crooked. The workmen cut in around them with good precision. We will have the opposite end of the house sided in the spring and will hire Beantown again to do it."

We had investigated several other roofing contractors but Golden Group was our choice based on their responsiveness and the quality of work that we saw on other roofs they had done in our area. Their work proposal was comprehensive and detailed, and the price was in-line with others we had received. Freddy is a nice guy; he is friendly, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable. He patiently worked with us from start to finish, answering our many questions and offering helpful suggestions. We especially like the fact that once the job started Freddy was on site with the team and kept us updated on progress and made sure we agreed with design choices they were making. The job took just over three days (in addition to the roof they also replaced the trim on the house). They did a good job cleaning up afterwards. "The experience was very stressful. The siding crew was very rough on our 1774 home. They damaged portions of the trim, a window, and the metal roof. I had to constantly monitor the crew to make sure they minimized damage and completed the work correctly. It was difficult communicating with the Spanish-speaking crew. Materials are in my yard that still have not been picked up 2 weeks later. The finished siding looks good, but that is the best complement I can make. I had doors replaced by Power on a previous job and was very satisfied. I would be cautious recommending Power for siding replacement on a similar old house."
