"Did mold remediation in 2020 before house was purchased. Mold found in attic. Resolved it with a 4 year warranty expiring 3-23-24. In January 2024, found mold in same spot. They inspected and sent an estimate to remove. Asked about the warranty still in place. Never responded. Did a good job of remediation work. Doesn’t support their warranty."

"I am very happy that I had All Clean Environmental Services to fulfill my project. They are extremely reliable in all aspects, price is reasonable. The terrific asbestos removal job was done, my place is left been very clean. The most important for me was a direct and clear communication with Kevin from the first phone conversation, during the project and after it was finished. He is a very knowledgeable specialist and the nicest person. Kevin went above and beyond making me been comfortable and absolutely worry free. Would like also mention that I appreciate how detailed were Kevin and Sorany with all documentation I was getting from them via emails. Thank you so much, Kevin and Sorany! "Fantastic service. Had high mold counts for my Dads house. Other companies were 2-3 times higher and we had to vacate the house for 5 days. Rey came in treated the house and we were back the next day. Had an independent mold tester come in after remediation and the results were well below acceptable levels. My Dads health has improved dramatically and has changed his quality of life: Thank you Rey!"

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

Yes, a ceiling leak is considered an emergency. Even a small leak can indicate a larger problem that could lead to significant water damage, compromise your home's structural integrity, and become a major expense. Large leaks can cause your ceiling to sag or even collapse.

If water is actively dripping or running down walls, it is a clear emergency. You should call an emergency plumber immediately. While waiting for professional help, place buckets under the leak, use towels to absorb water, and move furniture out of the way to prevent damage.

Even if you only see a water stain that isn't actively dripping, it's still important to investigate and repair the source to prevent future damage, although the situation is less urgent than an active leak.

Mold thrives in high-moisture environments, whether that’s steady leaks or just high condensation. Around the house, common causes of mold include leaky pipes, a leaking roof, high humidity, poor ventilation, a damp basement, rotting food in the fridge, wet clothing and towels not hung properly for drying, a leaking foundation, and a leaky air conditioner.

And, of course, if your home suffers from flood damage, you stand the risk of developing mold in the aftermath. That’s why it’s important to act quickly at the first sign of mold.

Wood tables are susceptible to mold growth, especially if they have been water-damaged. In fact, anything made of wood in your home—from tables and chairs to cabinets and floors—can grow mold since wood is both an organic material and a porous one. Major flooding and water damage are likely candidates for mold growing on your wood table, but it can also happen simply if the wood table is in a humid environment.

You can kill the mold with a proprietary cleaner, or simply a diluted bleach or even cleaning vinegar or dish soap. Always wear gloves, protective eyewear, and a face mask when dealing with mold.

Having a dry house can be unhealthy for you and the home. Excessive dryness can lead to respiratory issues, dry skin, dry or sore throats, and other problems. Additionally, any wooden furniture and the home's structure and floors can suffer from cracking and shrinking under dry indoor air conditions, leading to gaps and splits.

Bleach and vinegar are both home remedies for killing mold and mildew, but neither is the best answer. A professional cleaning company or mold remediation company can do the best job. If you want to attempt killing mold yourself, however, reach for plain white vinegar before bleach. Vinegar is a mild acid, and when used properly, it can kill about 80% of mold varieties, along with their spores. It’s also much safer to use than bleach, as it doesn’t include toxic chemicals and isn’t generally dangerous to human or animal health.
