"Hello [Member Name Removed]: We respect every client's right to leave an honest review, whether positive or negative. What we do not respect is you writing a review that is intentionally untruthful and lacking numerous facts. Everything started and progressed smoothly up until the tile stage of the project. Our company utilizes a network of tilers that we have been working with for years. At some point in the preparatory stage of the shower area (cement board, waterproofing, shower pan, etc), the client had some concerns with the tile work being done. Our tiling team immediately began correcting their concerns. At this stage only the preparatory work was done; no tile was laid on the walls yet. Upon the client request, we removed and began rebuilding the shower pan using the method the client requested. [Member Name Removed]'s , [Member Name Removed], who we dealt with intermittently ([Member Name Removed] was the main point of contact), said he had gone up to the speak with the tile guy. [Member Name Removed]s claim at that time was that the tile guy became aggressive and [Member Name Removed] was not comfortable having him back in the home. Although [Contractor Name Removed] did not agree with [Member Name Removed] and our tiler refutes this claim, we offered [Member Name Removed] and [Member Name Removed] to bring another tiler in to complete the shower. They said they were going to have their tiler come in which we were ultimately ok with and allowed them to do. If there are complaints on a leaking shower pan, cracked tiles, waterproofing issues, or anything related directly to the tiling work, then [Member Name Removed] and [Member Name Removed] should be calling their tiler back. This is someone that is not affiliated with us and that we had no involvement of bringing into do this portion of the work. Finally, to touch on [Member Name Removed]’s assertion of the project taking one year, that is simply not the case. There were definitely some delays that had to do with waiting for their tiling subcontractor being able to begin the tile (6-8 weeks pause until their guy could start), as well as having to wait for the glass to get measured and made (which could only be done after the shower was installed since it was custom glass). There was never any intention to ghost [Member Name Removed] or his project, especially since there was a balance due for when the project was completed; this is how all of our project payments are setup, with payments at the end once the project is complete. Ultimately, if the client has or had any issues regarding the work, payments, or anything for that matter, they could have or could always reach out to us. No attempt was made by [Member Name Removed] or [Member Name Removed] to discuss any of these aforementioned issues before posting their inaccurate review. If there is anything we can reasonably do, they can feel free to reach out to us."
"While we respect Mr. [Member Name Removed]’s right to share his opinion, he has left out some important key details. The client was well aware and informed that their town did not have a plumbing inspector to perform said inspections. We called numerous times and the client even called himself as he did not believe us. After over 5 weeks we were finally able to secure an inspection on the plumbing. Right after this we were shut down as the state prohibited any construction during this time period. We shared this with our client who was not happy (understandably) and told them we would not overstep the state’s mandate. The client had another working bathroom during the entire time which was not part of the renovation project. They continuously insisted on us overstepping the guidelines stating, “our bathrooms are essential to us”. While we understand this was a frustrating time, we did do what we could to pick back up and recalibrate given the multiple month shut down. The client clearly did not respect the safety of our workers or themselves during this time."
"We definitely appreciate your feedback, [Member Name Removed]. As far as the more critical complaint about the leak, we did offer to come out and repair the area in question. We never heard back from you. You did not allow us to even remove the floor on the grounds that "[you] do not know of any contractor that finds mistakes in their own work". We even sent another followup email when we did not hear back from her. A.W. Puma stands by all work we perform."
"Thanks, [Member Name Removed]! We appreciate the awesome review. Glad we could be a part of your project."
