I was kept informed of all processes and phases on a regular basis. I had a kitchen update and a bathroom remodel and both started and finished on time as promised. They know what they are doing and do solid construction and impeccable finish work. I have heard terrible stories about contractors - this company is not like that. I could not have been happier! Well worth the money spent. I had WBI convert a 3-season sunroom to year-round living and WBI did another fantastic job from start to finish. "The Curtice Group finished our bathroom renovation in early April 2023. We can give a wholehearted positive review for Scott Curtice’s coordination of the project including keeping to and even improving upon the original schedule, cost transparency throughout, and thoughtful approaches to both design as well as any problems encountered. Scott was an excellent communicator all through the work, being both accessible and responsive to our concerns and questions. Proficient management of the timing of subcontractors by Scott and his project managers was key to the success of the process. All of the above contributed to a great result. The bathroom work included a complete change in the location of the original plumbing and an extension into another room. Scott designed a bathroom that fits our needs, which includes a lot of storage as well as a feeling of spaciousness in what is not really a big space. At the outset, he recommended vendors, always with the caveat that we could choose our own. He also accompanied us to a vendor for the main plumbing components of the bathroom. For access during the work, he created a temporary entrance that would allow access to the work site without going through the rest of the house. In addition to the bathroom, we changed multiple interior doors, replaced the original basement windows and door, changed multiple lighting fixtures and did additional carpentry work. We also addressed remedial plumbing problems in the basement as well as in another bathroom."

"We had a very small roof area need to be repaired. I sent request to multiple company to give a service quote. Few of them sent me replies and stated that they are too busy to come. Matt of MMP Consturction's contacted me promptly, scheduled an on-site visit and gave us a quote right away. The work was then scheduled and finished quickly. "Wallpaper removal = A; plastering = A-; painting: C+. We were disappointed in the overall experience. They were kind enough and their wallpaper removal and plastering was great, really solid—but on the final day, they rushed with the painting to get it done on the original time frame, and while one room was top notch, another was above average, and the bathroom was very sloppy. There was wall paint on our bathroom tiles, vanity, and shower; unsanded/unsmoothed plaster chunks that were just painted right over and were unsightly and lumpy; peeling caulking; parts where the paint was crooked or misaligned with baseboards; paint dribbles on floor and utensils on counter; and they did a poor job cleaning up, with plaster dust everywhere, paint to be cleaned up in the bathroom, and paint and plaster dust in, on, and around our cabinets. One of the crew members’ painting skills was just rushed and poor and it detracted from the others’ skills. By the time the job was over they rushed to get out of the house and did not carefully complete a walkthrough."

"James and the team at Avalon Masonry and Construction replaced our brick front walkway with pavers, repaired some existing paver work, and re-leveled a bluestone patio that had settled. Excellent work on all three. They started quickly and worked efficiently, with none of the long idle stretches you often get on a hardscaping job. Communication was thorough and proactive throughout, and they were responsive to our budget and creative about solving problems rather than defaulting to the most expensive fix. When one detail of the finished walkway wasn't sitting right with us, they came back and corrected it without any pushback. That willingness to stand behind the work is why I'd hire them again."
