He works by the hour so it is important to me that he worked dilligently and smartly so that i was not wasting my money. he knew what he was doing with carpentry and did a thorough job. he had to match the flooring in a section and install it so that it fit visually with little to no seam which he did a great job on. For the cabinetry work he had good ideas on how to proceed and gave us several options. he is very experienced so he is perfect for problem solving a complex fix or project."

"Matt and his crew were extremely professional. Prior to building the actual room, they were very upfront about our options within our price range. They never tried to “up sell” us, and truly listened to what we wanted to get from an additional bedroom. The team was in constant communication with us in regards to time and days they would be working, and if there was ever a day they would not be on site, we knew ahead of time. We were even set back a few days due to rain, and the team came on the weekend to make up time. Throughout the process they were honest about cost, and additional things that were going to have to increase our original price. When the room was completed, originally for our teenage son, we loved it so much we moved in for ourselves! Overall we were extremely pleased with the whole process. We love our new room!"

"Very well.  I acted as general contractor after my builder disappeared in the middle of the job.  I had some good contractors and some not so good ones.  HS Plastering and Painting was at the top of the good list.  The quality of their work was very good; no complaints there at all.  But what stood out was the experience of working with them.  They came when asked, did what they were asked to do, acted in a professional manner, stood by their work, and were a true pleasure to have as a contractor.  They were quick, worked weekends to get the job done, and didn't cut corners.

If concerned as I might have been earlier in the project that a dozen+ jobs would result in overages, this wasn’t the case. Vanny and Tony's open communication led to this positive result. There might have been one related to bathroom, but it was traded back earlier in the project when the purchased carpet was too small for the upstairs closet - Tony paid for the extra carpet and installation. "Antonio was hard to get a hold of initially and it took several weeks of leaving messages to find a good time for him to even discuss our project. However we felt this wait was well worth it as the complete dining room remodeling job he did for us turned out beautifully.  Antonio communicated with us nearly every day about the project, and his crew left the house in spotless condition at the end of each day. We picked out the insulation, lighting, paint colors and woodwork types and Antonio did everything else with little direction. He arranged for all town permits and inspections as well as sub-contractors for electricity, flooring and insulation. Four years later, we are still extremely pleased with how this room looks.
