Everything went very smoothly. The workers were prompt, efficient, and friendly. The quality of the work was excellent.

We had a great experience with Lux. Bottom line they were fast (~2 weeks to complete the job), worked us into the schedule quickly as well, were courteous, and we love the finished product. In more detail, we wanted to finish our basement to use as a gym and a den. Our top priorities were quality and speed. We have heard some horror stories from friends and coworkers of contracting jobs taking forever or the house being filled with dust from the dry walling. The reason we went with Lux is they use a basement finishing system, and they work on your project every business day until it’s done. The finishing system is high quality and comes with warranties. Our project manager Dan was prompt to answer all our questions and made sure things went smoothly with scheduling, permits, and inspections. Mario, who completed our project, was courteous, efficient, and addressed every little question or concern we had during the work.

Working with Lux was pleasant, efficient, and professional from signing the contract to coordinating with the project manager and the team who worked in our house especially--Jimmy was prompt, professional, and worked 5 or 6 days a week while our basement was under construction. However, a few months after our basement was completed a major leak in our forced hot water boiler/furnace copper piping flooded part of our finished basement. One of the contractors had nicked the pipe with a screw during construction and it took a few months to fully leak. Lux was short and unprofessional on their customer service line when this issue was communicated, and it has been extremely difficult to get anyone from the company to remedy the issue. If they are able to fix this problem, we would absolutely give them a 5 star review.

The guy who was in charge of the project. He did a lot of dopey stuff. I had a kitchen put in downstairs and he put in just one cabinet downstairs and that ended up costing me $4000 extra. The team he had working was great they did a really nice job downstairs. I would hire the company again but not with the same person in charge.

Love the product, BUT, consider you just spent $90,000 to finish your basement, you ask that they leave you a couple of ceiling and floor tiles in case of damage for the future, they comply. Then when you do the walk through, some of the flooring needs to be replaced. They come a few weeks later and don’t bring any product, so you show them the couple of tiles they leave, they use them to do the work. You pay them in full. Then you call the product manager and ask if you can please have a couple of floor tiles to replace the ones they used (they used them all by the way), and over the phone in a belligerent and condescending tone he says, “I don’t have to leave you anything!”. How’s that for customer service after they received their money. And I never did get any tiles, or a call, from LUX about anything.

Lux was terrific to work with. From sales to design to install the process clear and well communicated. The installation was clean, respectful of our time and the results were stellar. Lux helped us add 600 sq ft of living space to our home.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Every step of the process was easy and seamless from the permitting process to clean up. All the workers were wonderful, from our initial contact with John Flynn and then to foreman Tim and his assistant, Lucas. They all were punctual, polite, professional and personable. The entire project was completed in 2 weeks as promised, which is impressive during a pandemic. The quality of the products, including the flooring, lighting and carpeting is excellent. We highly recommend Lux to anyone looking for top quality workmanship and a hassle free renovation.

Lux Renovations was amazing. Definitely recommend them, we used them for our basement remodel/finishing an unfinished basement. We enjoyed working with our sales rep John Flynn, he was great to work with, very friendly and always responsive. He gave recommendations and guided us through the whole project as well as followed up after. Melo our contractor who did the work was also great and did a fantastic job. We are extremely happy with the quality of work and great people, everyone was very professional throughout the whole project. The company was also great working around our schedule for when to start the project and completed the work faster than expected. Can’t wait to use our new basement!

What I needed done (just installing drop ceiling in unfinished basement) did not match the full renovation services this company offered, but Miles was so helpful pointing me in the right direction. If I need renovation work done in future, I'd definitely reach out.

The Owens-Corning materials were a good choice for our basement. The finished project reflects a clean, safe, comfortable living space.

Overall the work went very well. The work was done very quickly and professionally and we are very happy with our new basement. The only hitches were with some extras they offered outside of the basic offering, framing in some shelves and network ports for the basement office, which caused some problems as we went.

They made a living room, a laundry room and a full bathroom and they are all perfect .I love how everything looks .they are expensive but you get what you pay for the quality of the work is great

Lux Renovations made the entire basement remodel process easy and painless. There was always someone around to address questions and concerns. The materials used during the remodel are a high quality so I know that I will never have to do work on my basement again. I also love that you can take the wall panels apart because we hid an unsightly oil tank behind one and now we will have access to it if it ever needs to be replaced. I would recommend Lux Renovations to all my friends and family in need of a basement remodel.

I think the price was high but overall they did a great job. Great quality, quick process and everything was kept clean! Very happy with the end result.

We had an excellent experience with Lux Renovations installing our Owens Corning system in the basement. John was great to work with for everything from designing the layout, to picking the finishing items and even the last minute questions. He was always very responsive and we were very thankful for it! Luis and his team were amazing! They took care of everything and we had no worries leaving everything in his hands every day. They were such hard workers that they even came on a Saturday after my town delayed a permit (my fault). We couldn't ask for a better experience.
