"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."

"I have used Genove several times in the past for work on my boiler and water heater.  They are great guys and do excellent work.  I recently had them come give me a quote me for a full AC replacement.  They quoted me several thousand dollars more base-level Carrier equipment than did their competitor using performance series Carrier equipment.
I knew they do a good job, but couldn't justify the cost.

He was cost conscious and fully transparent about pricing and the effect of various choices and selections throughout, while remaining happy to go ahead with whatever choices we made after weighing on the pros and cons. "We found water in the finished and unfinished part of the basement, and part of the carpet in the finished basement room was wet. We suspected it was a foundation leak and asked another company who quickly provided a quote to install sump pump. However, after Nick (project manager from Pioneer) came by, he inspected closely on the damage, and did not think it was caused by foundation leak. He took the time and found the real cause of the damage, which is a pipe leak from the A/C unit!!! I am glad I asked Pioneer to come to provide an estimate, and did not go ahead and fix a problem that did not even exist!!!

I am so impressed with the honesty of Nick, which I believe is a good reflection of the company's integrity, especially comparing to the other company I used for estimate.
