He prices his work fairly and does great work. If you want a quick, sloppy job, you need to look elsewhere. There are many contractors who will work cheap and their results reflect the price and attitude. D&S Construction is the rare company performing excellent work at a reasonable price. Sanfer refuses to do things any way but the RIGHT way. His quality is top notch. He treats his subcontractors fairly and they return the favor by doing great work. Sanfer and his team are extremely considerate of customers' properties and always leave the job site clean and neat, whether he is coming back the next day or wrapping up on the final day. "Very well.  I acted as general contractor after my builder disappeared in the middle of the job.  I had some good contractors and some not so good ones.  HS Plastering and Painting was at the top of the good list.  The quality of their work was very good; no complaints there at all.  But what stood out was the experience of working with them.  They came when asked, did what they were asked to do, acted in a professional manner, stood by their work, and were a true pleasure to have as a contractor.  They were quick, worked weekends to get the job done, and didn't cut corners.  
In fact, my realtor liked them so much that she asked for their contact information for other houses that she works on.

"Billy was one of several contractors I contacted for quotes; his price was on par with a few other builders we contacted. The other contractors I had come out for quotes were a bit pushy in their sales pitch and tried hard to upsell me on composite decking, rail systems, and lots of other work. However, Billy was very relaxed, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and didn't push anything beyond what I was asking for. 
He arrived on the date work was scheduled to start and completed it in about 4 days. It probably would have taken much less time but the weather was very unforgiving and that forced him and his crew to stop early a couple days. However, they were here about 7AM every morning, were very friendly and professional, and didn't leave any kind of mess.
The final cost was a few dollars under his original quote. 
The new deck looks great and we have no complaints.

Carlos was terrific. His crew power-washed our ranch house and two level deck, replaced wood around one window which had  significant water damage, primed and painted the garage door, shutters and all exterior trim with two coats of paint.

They showed up when they said they would, and worked very hard. It was an excellent experience.
