Precision Painting and Remodeling

Description of Work: At the recommendation of our kitchen and bath designer, my wife and I retained David Watkins to be the general contractor for the remodeling ofour three bathrooms, starting in early 2015. Dave oversaw the entireproject, including the complete gutting of the 3 bathrooms, enlargement ofthe master bath, construction and installation of new walls, ceilings,insulation, cabinets and subflooring, complete repainting of all 3 rooms,and supervision of the plumbing, electrical, countertop, tiling and glasssubcontractors.After this project was completed in the fall of 2015, we liked DaveWatkins' work so much that we retained him to repair the considerabledamage, both interior and exterior, that our house had suffered from icedams during the previous winter. Dave and his crew repaired and repaintedseveral rooms, including all of the bedrooms on the second floor, replacedand repainted damaged exterior siding and trim, added soffit vents on allfour sides of the roof, and supervised repairs to the chimneys and theinstallation of a new roof and gutters. Dave also repaired and reinforcedthe foundation under our kitchen addition necessitated by the poorworkmanship of a previous contractor several years earlier; he also replaceda section of the kitchen subfloor and replaced several cracked floor tiles.
