"He was beyond excellent. He was always on time, he showed up when he promised he will show up. He was super detailed in his work and was very meticulous. He was very clean and cleaned up after himself and very willing to please. He is very artistic, worked really well with his hands and he likes the work. He gave us a completion date and he got it done in the time frame he said he will get it done."

"Daniels and Daniels painted my whole house and pressured washed the outside, as well as installed 3 replacement windows. The work is phenomenal and they were so nice and professional. I would highly recommed this company to anyone needing work done on their home or business. I will be calling them back in the future."

"Great! I gave instructions of the work requested online at the time of purchase of the "Big Deal". They arrived and did the requested work without any further contact. Getting the project completed was nearly effortless for me and they were cheaper than the other estimates that I'd gotten."

"The outside Deck was the first work done, the Kitchen started the inside work and each room was worked on/updated as each job was finished.  Sons Contruction bid each job individually and preformed each job with professionalism and timing.  James Sons and his crew were very knowledgable, pleasant to work with, and comunicated every detail thoroughly.  I will continue to have James and his company as my contractor in the future.

"It went excellent. It was like a third of the price of what the dealer wanted. I had broken a door handle. He came to my house to do the work. He calls you before he shows up. I would absolutely recommend him. I have used him before as well, and he is an amazing/honest guy. He is one of those rare people who does what he says he is going to do. He is a road scholar. He is the first one I call when I have a project around the house."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

No, painting shower tile doesn’t last and is better reserved as a temporary solution to refreshing the look of old tiles. Shower tile paint may last around one to five years, depending on how well you prep the surface before painting, the type of paint you use, the type of tile in your shower, and how often you use the shower.

A cement backer board is not needed for laying tile on concrete. Sometimes referred to as a cementitious backer unit, or CBU, backer board should be used if the subfloor is plywood or OSB. The backer board provides a base on which to install the tiles that isn’t as likely to be damaged by any accidental water seepage as natural materials would be.

When considering the types of grout for your project, unsanded grout is the best choice for penny tile. Unsanded grout can fit better into narrow spaces, like those between the small penny tiles, and it’s easier to smooth out for a seamless finish. However, if you’re unsure, check with a tile installation pro to determine which grout is best for your specific project.

No, tiling over painted walls or wallpapered surfaces is generally not recommended. Textured surfaces and paints will affect the adhesive, possibly causing tiles to lift or fall off. Painted walls with a semi-gloss or high-gloss finish are particularly difficult for adding tiles. It’s wise to strip the paint first if you install the tiles to drywall, although it’s still best to opt for a cement backer board.

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all best tile for a dog shower. Consider your budget, tile durability, aesthetics, and, most importantly, practicality. Avoid tiles your dog will slide around on. Pebbles are a great non-slip option, but are pricey and tricky to install. Glass might look modern, but it’s not scratch-resistant. Small, floor-rated ceramic or porcelain tiles are economical and have many grout lines that make the surface more slip-resistant. Pick a matte finish rather than a shiny tile if you want it to hide stray mud and hairs better.
