"What was originally thought to be a grout problem was found to be a substandard job by a previous contractor. Craig and the Creative Tile team were amazing from helping identify the problem to developing and installing an amazing solution. The team of people working for Creative Tile were amazing. From demolition, to building the foundation for the new floor, to installation of the tile, and finishing the job; it was a true pleasure to deal with the team. We now have a bathroom that I consider showroom quality. I will use Craig and Creative Tile for all my future tile jobs."

"Anthony and his partner did a great job on our floor from start to finish ! They removed the old flooring and replaced it repaired any low spots and bad subfloor and we are very satisfied with the finished product. There were some challenges due to the previous installation of the old flooring by someone else and they had an answer for any problems they encountered. They were friendly, polite , professional and very knowledgeable in their trade ! They cleaned up everything and went the xtra mile to be mindful of my wife working from home during the job ! I would not hesitate to hire AC or recommend to anyone looking for great work at a fair price. 😁"

"Cameron & Jeffrey worked like dogs to make a very dirty, neglected apartment look presentable. The refrigerator looks like new. Their price was lower than my other bid. They showed up on time and stayed until I was satisfied. That's all I could ask for."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Whether you want to match your tile trim with grout comes down to your personal preferences. If you match the two, it can help your tiles to stand out while providing a clean, cohesive look. On the other hand, you might opt to match your tile trim with your tiles. The best option will depend largely on your tile design, as well as how it fits overall with the rest of your room.

Yes, but you should only put tile directly on drywall in smaller areas that don’t experience excess moisture. For example, a small kitchen tile backsplash could work, but installing tile directly on the drywall in a bathroom or other chronically damp area is not a good idea. Either way, a cement backer board is a far more reliable solution, as drywall is susceptible to moisture and can warp or cause your tiles to crack.

How long painted tiles last ultimately comes down to the quality of the paint job and how much wear and tear the tiles get. It’s possible the paint job will only last about six months if the tiles are in a high-traffic area and they weren’t properly cleaned, sanded, and primed prior to painting and sealing. Well-painted tiles in a low-traffic area should last at least a year.

To maintain tile and grout, clean the surfaces regularly with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and wipe up spills promptly to prevent buildup. It is also important to reseal the grout every 1-2 years to maintain its durability.

Natural stone tiles are durable, heat-resistant, and add timeless elegance to floors, walls, and countertops.
