  • BluRock LLC
All the representatives of the company were great as well as subcontractors. We had some issues getting the cabinets due to Covid. Jenifer was great to keep me informed about what was coming up. The owner, John Hopkins, checked on the progress and stood by his word. I would Hire them again with out reservations

  • All-Pro of Kentucky
Remodeling went GREAT. Martin Saunders and his crew are meticulous and careful workman. One of the best parts of dealing with All-Pro of Kentucky is the bid presented, it is detailed with specific data & the cost per item. You are not obliged (and this is a ?biggie?) to use only specific merchants for ?stuff?. You can select any business for fixtures, floor tile, lights & so on

The shelves were primed & painted in his shop & then put together here, trim applied & the finish painting applied. My wooden floors were protected. No problems to report.

  • J & R Construction Services Inc
Design and initial construction went quite well. Material selection was easy; Seth has a natural ability with materials and colors and really understood what we wanted to accomplish. The only real hiccup we had was the space designed for the refrigerator did not take into account the need to open the door to fill it. We were able to work with them for an appropriate solution. Subcontractor provided a panel with the wrong color on it, which J&R ensured was replaced at no extra cost to us

Before beginning the demolition of the kitchen, Jimmy and his crew partitioned off the rest of the house with plastic walls to prevent as much dust as possible. At the end of each day, they cleaned up as much of the dust & debris as possible. From start to finish the project took a few days less than one month. Jimmy was good about obtaining my input on where I wanted things, like the lighting (including the 12 can lights in the ceiling) & the new electrical outlets/switches, about answering all my questions, and addressing any of my concerns. He & his crew were always very professional and considerate. There were no delays in getting the job done because of overbooking jobs ... none of this working a few days and then not be back for a week because of another job. I trusted Jimmy and his crew. In fact, I only missed one day of work and that was the first day. We couldn't have asked for a better crew or better results. I love my kitchen and the openness of our kitchen/living room/dining room! I feel like I'm in a new house and wish we had done it a long time ago. It's been a year now since the project was completed and I am as pleased with the workmanship and result as ever. In fact, I hope to have Jimmy back to remodel our bathrooms soon

I'm not accustomed to hiring others to do work around my house, but I needed professional-looking results done quickly. J&R really came through. The hardwood flooring looks amazing. J&R was the only company who wanted to weave the new rooms into the existing hardwood hallway; all of the others wanted to install a transition strip separating the areas. The construction itself went flawlessly; the construction area was separated from the rest of the house with plastic which contained most of the dust (you can't contain all of it in a project like this). The fireplace surround with mantel project has completely transformed our basement. Starting with our discussions with J&R's design person, it turned out perfectly, just as we imagined. No, make that better than we imagined. The color of the stone and tile couldn't have been better; the area is not only aesthically pleasing but functional, with cabinets for wood storage and accessories during the winter.Certainly, a stellar result. The built-in desk/shelves are an amazing use of limited space. This is one of my 'things'; I hate wasted space. Both the fireplace surround and the office area showed the creativity and professionalism of J&R and satisfied my fear of wasted space. I now have a cabinet for my computer, a cabinet for storage, a large desk area, and five built-in shelves. The area is good-looking and very usable for a variety of computer projects for the entire family. The supervision and communication between all parties was always top-notch. Questions were always answered quickly via phone or email. To Jimmy, Seth, and George........3 jobs well done

This is a great company to work with - two generations of experience plus a very professional crew. I discussed my kitchen remodel that evolved over a few months with Mike Sizemore and he gave me great suggestions to improve organization and aesthetics. He also gave suggestions of what I could add or take away to stay within my budget and he didn't go over it. The best thing was that during this process, Mike was always super responsive, emailing me or calling me back within a day or two, sending me new drawings when I wanted changes, up through to when the cabinets were being built. I have had so many experiences quite the opposite, it gave me confidence in the professionalism. The price was about the same as purchasing cabinets through a cabinet store, but these were made to specifications, with plywood box and maple face and drawer boxes. They spray painted the cabinets with a beautiful sheen and made a custom maple island top exactly the size I wanted. It's a great work space for all kinds of projects. I'm so happy with my kitchen and just want to thank Mike, his dad and his crew for making it possible. I highly recommend this company

We met with Barber Cabinet various times to design the cabinets. They were very helpful in the designing process. We feel that we got a good price for what they did. Barbers are an established family business that has been around for a long time. Thanks to Terry Burns for the design help he gave.
