"Great professional company. Did everything they said, finished in two days like they said and cleaned up thoroughly. I've used 3 different fencing companies in the past 15 years and 3D Fencing & Handyman Fencing is by far the best fencing company. They offer great quality work along with a more reasonable pricing. Thank you 3D."

"They do great work for a fair price. Theyve replaced flooring, installed a completely new kitchen, done plumbing, insulation, installed two new showers, installed a new double door, built two new porches (one screened), poured sidewalks, built a carport into our garage, painted our roofs and garage, and other miscellaneous maintenance. We have been using them for about four years and will continue to hire them for all of our remodeling/maintenance work in the future."

"Tiger fencing is an amazing company! I had a gate that would not open due to the rotten post and they got a new post set and a new gate made in just a few hours. Super polite group of workers and i would suggest them to anyone who needs a fence worked on or a new fence."

"Very professional and knowledgeable sales team. No high pressure sales tactics. Installation was fast and professional as well. After installation, they helped us train "Buddy" to the new fence. Would highly recommend."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

You can weather a new wood fence by applying vinegar with steel wool as a way to fade some of the coloring. You may also find it easier to stain your entire fence a new color instead of trying to get newer fence boards to match an older one.

While there’s no hard evidence to support this idea, driveway gates at least provide an additional obstacle that may deter crime. After all, a would-be burglar or trespasser would have to break into the gate and the property itself. The extra work could encourage them to move onto a house without a driveway gate.

Painting or staining protects fences from environmental damage, enhances durability, and improves curb appeal with a fresh, customized look.

Ideally, your concrete should set slightly above ground at an angle sloping away from the fence post. This will add extra support and allow water to run away from the wood fence post. Keeping water out will help prevent wood rot. Additionally, you can add soil on top of the concrete for a seamless finish.

A fence post set in concrete lasts anywhere from five to over 25 years, depending on how well the concrete was applied and the fence post’s material. Untreated wood posts in concrete could last less than 10 years, but a durable, treated wood set in properly applied concrete could last a few decades. However, all fence posts will wear out eventually, so expect to need to replace your fence post every five to 15 years.
